Lipstick Jungle star Brooke Shields focused not on the lips but her eyes — eyelashes, to be exact — at this year's awards. When I spoke to head Emmy makeup artist Bruce Grayson last week, he correctly predicted we'd see lots of lashes and sheer lipstick on the red carpet. What do you think of Brooke's take on the trend?

wow is she every getting wrinkly!
1She looks 100% better with her hair down, I saw it up the other day and it made her look OLD, man.
2Did she use an entire tube of mascara or did she just stick tarantulas to her eye lids?
3I don't really like this look on Ms. Shields. Her eyes are smallish, and her lips are full...this look just accentuates those features and makes her face look out of proportion.
She might have pulled it off better with a sleek, straight hairstyle. While I love her soft, loose curls, they don't look "put-together" enough for the dramatic eye makeup.
4I can officially say I hate this nude lipstick look. I'm sorry but with the washed out lower part of her face I'm forced to fixate on all the wrinkles on her upper face.
5I agree with lucyS, I'm not loving this lipstick look on her either.
I'm not going to knock her for having wrinkles. Good for her, she hasn't resorted to Botox.

12I hate to say it, but she looks so harsh and masculine as she gets older.
She really needs to soften up her look somehow.
13Love her eye makeup but the lips are too light for my liking. Her dress was so fab though so she probably wanted all the attention on that.
14Foundation on the face doesn't match her neck, and she needs less eye makeup.
Good on her for aging without injections though!

17she's so pretty, I think her wrinkles are even pretty, I can hardly believe the negative comments. But it makes me laugh because I know you are just sickly jealous of how beautiful she is and she always will be no matter how "old" she gets. I bet you wish you were even a fraction of how pretty she is. I also bet you negative people will commit suicide if you get a wrinkle or a pimple on your ugly face!
18Beautiful woman, not a flattering picture. She needs a different foundation and moisturizer.
