Jennifer Love Hewitt has had some ups and downs this year. After some meanies picked on her for getting "fat" — as though not being a size 0 is a crime — she went on a diet and talked about it with US Weekly.
I think she's looking great at the Emmys, and the eye makeup is absolutely regal. I'm not sure if I'd want to steal this hairstyle, but hey, I bet a lot of people love it. (Pardon the pun.) So in the spirit of being respectful to JLH, who's already dealt with enough internet snark for 2008, what do you think of this look?

She looks 10 years older than she really is and her hair is too 80's prom.
1I was thinking she looks kinda early 90's too. Do.not.like. her year of snarking, ehh...I mean what's she going to do? Complain that not everyone can have nice hair and makeup, then get a complete makeover and sell the story to People?

3pretty dress, good body, horrific hair. What hair stylist would let their client out the door like this?! It looks like she crimped her hair for 80's night at her local bar, went to bed way too late and way too wasted and woke up 20 minutes before the emmy's, putting her hair up as she drove.
4Ooooooooo noooooooooooo. This is awful. The hair, the make-up, my eyes. And who the heck naturally blushes orange brown?
5Jennifer. Why would you allow that bird to nest on your head? I want to like you. I do. When you spoke out about the media's nasty coverage of your weight, I did. Then, you sold out with that dramatic weight loss and People article. And to top it off you do this. I just don't know what to do with you.

15I love J Love but I don't like this look. Her hair is horrible and she looks better with smokey eyes. I think that she needed to lose weight either. She looks too skinny and it makes her face look sunken in.

18I'm with robs - the hair looks like something you'd see at the prom...probably in the 90s with all the crimpy pieces and thick bangs. The blush is way too heavy; her cheeks almost look dirty. And her eyes look severe, not in a sexy way. The whole look is too overdone.
