It's funny to think that Christina Aguilera's style was once considered shocking; these days, I'd be most stunned if she were to show up with a natural look. Lately, she's shifting from an Old Hollywood phase into a kinda mod, kinda '80s face to go along with that platinum-blonde hair.
I wouldn't be surprised if she's wearing Nars lipstick in Schiap ($24) — that bright pink shade looks like a match — but the question is, do you like her risk-taking choices?

I hate her look! She looks so fake, like she's wearing a mask- she wears waayyyyyy to much makeup! I like the lipstick but the eyes and the caked on face makeup she always wears is horrible.
1I think my issue with her look is that without all that caked on makeup, she really is beautiful, but she always looks like a cartoon to me. I think it's a little sad to cover up her natural beauty with such heavy makeup all the time. Once in a while, sure. While performing, of course. But just out and about, I don't get it.

3I love the lipstick and eyes -- did Nars really do a take on a Schiaparelli Shocking Pink? Oh my, will have to check that out asap! -- but I agree, she looks a bit too caked on. We used to use pancake/ stick on models and actresses that had really bad skin as it can hide a multitude of sins. Perhaps that's why she always looks so "caked" up?

11Why is she always so YELLOW... she looks like she has jaundice! The lipstick is not terrible, not for me... but not too scary. That is a crap load of eyeliner however.
12It looks like Hollywood Nights lipstick from the MAC Cosmetics Heatherette collection. I like the color but the look as a whole is terrible.

15Cool lipstick, but definitely not for a signature look. This prompted the GFY girls and one of their readers to say "Damn -- Donatella Versace got some good work done." I laughed, but this really isn't flattering. I preferred the old Hollywood look, but I guess it was getting a little old. She could've gone for a fresh faced natural look -- she's really pretty naturally.

27I think she looks great. Most all celebrities wear lots of make-up, she just has fair skin so you can tell she is wearing lots of make-up. She went for a dramatic look and thats exactly what it looks like. I wish I could pull that off!
28IMO, this look translates far better when done close-up. It sort of works...but from afar it's basically a fashion/beauty disaster.

33lately i haven't been too into christina's look overall and i think that the pink lips aren't really floating my boat either. i know that a lot of people gave her grief for always having bright red lips but the pink just makes her look like the human barbie doll.
34I like almost everything about this look. The hair is fab, as well as the lipstick and thick cat eyeliner. I wish she had a soft brown rather than the gray in the crease, but overall, I think this is pretty snazzy look for her.

I didn't understand this when I was younger, but heavy makeup is very rarely flattering. It just makes you look ridiculous.

37The eyes and lips are neat but the foundation is bad - too matte and as others have said too "cakey".
To really make this look alive she needs to have SOME natural skin glow/texture coming through.
Looking like a dead doll..is fail.

44I think it is all overkill, and while the lipstick is fun, I agree that she has too much foundation on. I have really bad skin, and makeup artists (um, like at the counters @ Sephora) always pancake it on. I get why a celeb like x-tina would prefer that, but usually I just accept my skin isn't going to look perfect, but I don't want to look like I'm wearing a mask, so I go for a happy medium. And if she does have good skin, I have no idea why she wears all that crap!
