News flash: The Beckham bob (and its many copycats) is on the way out. According to many superstar stylists like Garren, Ted Gibson and Tommy Buckett (who works out of Sally Hershberger and is a personal favorite), collarbone-length hair is where it's at for Fall. While some are going for conservative takes on the length, a la Gwyneth "GOOP" Paltrow, most of the stylists interviewed prefer a choppier version. According to the article, those who went for the power pixie are either growing it out to this length (Anne Hathaway, Jenny McCarthy) or snipping even shorter (like Katie Holmes and Beckham herself). The former is much more universally flattering (and weather appropriate). Will you go for it?

I got a haircut last week and went with a collarbone length bob and side swept bangs...I can't get away from them...I feel naked without bangs.
I think the pixie cut is a little severe and risky, but hey, if you can pull it off more power to you.

9haha...maybe it's because i have been blessed with wavy, frizzy hair, but i completely consider the time of year when going for a drastic change...i've been growing my hair out for 2 years, after donating it, and am waiting until fall is in full swing here to chop it off again, so i don't have to worry about it being too hot to blow dry...when my hair is longer, it's easier to style or throw up on a day when i'm not in the mood...letting it dry naturally when it's short can be risky

21I love the bob! I cut mine in may, and now it's grown out pretty much exactly like Anne's which makes me very happy because I love her - but I loved my short hair...
22I did the angled collar bone length bob last fall and the angled shorter bob the fall before that. I did it because I got tired of seeing long hair everywhere.
Now, I am just hitting long again.
23I've had the super short pixie at different stages in the last few years. I think I may go back to it. I love it because it is so easy and I think it looks flattering on me. Longer hair on me makes me look really young.
