I've never even thought about bringing my own. I always just use something that's there.

I use the salon colors. It gives me a chance to use something new and experiment a little.

I bring my own for the same reason--I can do repairs if needed.
Plus, I don't have to worry about what colors will be available.

A few times I have used the salon polish, to experiment with colors I would normally not buy.

Depends where I go and if I want a particular color. The spa I go to has a great OPI selection but my smaller strip mall nail place doesn't have too many (I have more to choose from than they do) So I bring my own.

Yes I do, if I want to use a particular colour I have, usually my dark chanel shades. Most of the time I just experiment and use the wide array of colours the salon has.

I hardly ever go to a salon to do my nails - I consider it a waste of money and I change my nail color like twice, sometimes three times a week (I love painting my nails - it's like therapeutic to me or something), but when ever I have in the past, I'll use the salon's and then buy it - they guy I sometimes go to has great stuff that you can't find in stores and he always lets me buy them...

For my wedding, I had a specific shade picked out from MAC, so I gave it to the girl when she got to my house. Otherwise I just pick one from the plethora of colors at the salon.

I always choose my color from the salon. I am picky about the brand of nail polish (I hate OPI - too many chemicals!), and my salon only carries the brand I like - Zoya. If I like the color, I go to the salon supply store and buy it for cost. But I do like all the purty colors they have!

i use the polish that they have at the salon, but i always use the same color - so i do get upset if for some reason they don't have it. i've yet to bring my own polish with me, but i know that my mom does - so i can understand how some people do it.

I've done both, but I usually just use one of the shades that they have there.

normally I just use the salons... they carry OPI and China Glaze hich are two of my faves so I just pick a new color each time. Sometimes I will bring a color if I have a desire for that shade or need it for a certain look/event.

If there is a particular color that I want I'll sometimes bring it, especially if it's a newer color or one that's hard to find.

I bring my own color if i absolutely want to be sure i can get that color also i can fix it. Sometimes i cant help myself from buying nail polish but i never do my own nails so to get my moneys worth i bring it with me!

Totally depends on my mood. I usually have the color chosen ahead of time, but if I see something in the shop, I'll go with it. If I chip, I either touch up with something close, or go get a bottle if I love it. It's nice for test-driving a color without committing to another bottle in my polish box!
