One of my simple pleasures in life is a weekly facial mask ritual, and so for last week's Beauty Mark It challenge, I asked you to review your favorite/not so favorite masks on our awesome new Product Review Site. Whether they be gels, creams, acne reducers, or firming enhancers, luxurious facial masks make me feel like a queen — well, for a few minutes, at least.
I loved reading everybody's opinions, and the following three reviews really stood out:
- Mrs sonshine reviewed Clarins Truly Matte Pure and Radiant Mask ($27) — "Clarins is known for their gentle yet effective natural skincare. This Truly Matte Pure and Radiant Mask is one of their best products. Gentle enough for my dry and sensitive skin, it works like a vacuum to clean out yucky pores. I love applying it with a brush after a hot steamy shower."
- Bailaoragaditana reviewed The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil Face Mask ($15.50) — "Fantabulous, this is! It smells strong and makes your face bright green, yes, but it also sucks the oil out of your skin like no other. It's a bit difficult to remove, so I use a washcloth or exfoliating cloth to scrub it off. It can be kind of drying, but it's great as a weekly or twice-weekly mask for oily or blemish-prone skin."
- Sofi reviewed Neutrogena Clear Pore Cleanser / Mask ($7.00) — "The benzoyl peroxide in this works well when you leave it on as a mask, but watch out for lots of dryness afterwards. Slightly irritating if you are sensitive. If you need a quick fix for some breakouts, this may work but be ready for a bit of flakiness for a few days."

I want to try the Clarins mask...my sister swears by their products.
1I love the Body Shop's Tea Tree Mask, but I haven't used it since I got married- I'm afraid the green witch face will scare DH!
2I've been meaning to try the Body Shop Tea Tree Oil Mask!
3Me too.
4Add me in as another that wants to try the Body Shop mask. Might need to head to their site and buy it now.
5Ahhh I cannot recommend the Body Shop mask highly enough. It's wonderful!!
6That Neutrogena Cleanser/Mask is the devil.
7I use the Neutrogena one more as a spot treatment than a mask. As a mask it burns my skin but if I dab it on breakouts and leave it for a bit, it really helps clear it up.
8Although I love Queen Helene's variety of masks, it looks like I might try out Body Shop's mask!
9I use the Body Shop Tea Tree Oil mask twice weekly as my skin is SUUUPPPEEERRRR oily. It seems to help a bit. If nothing else, it leaves your skin feeling SO refreshed
10i love the AVON pore reducer
11mask, i even use it when i have
a small pimple, i put it overnight
and it work wonders.
I remember the days of my mint julep masks. Hahaha.
I might have to try using two at once. Maybe the tea trea on my t zone and another moisturizing one everywhere else-two tone. Ha.
12Neutrogena Cleanser/Mask is my secret weapon! I use it for spot treatment and mask but not as a daily cleanser b/c it does dry you out.
13Hey, don't knock the mint julep mask!!! LOL
14I can't comment on the Clarins and Body Shop masks but I will definitely try them soon. The Neutrogena mask/cleaner is an amazing bi weekly or weekly option if you want to kill all that scary bacteria.
Queen Helene's Mint Julep mask. Hands down fave!
15I adore my Clarins mask. It honestly gives my skin a bit of glow.
16I like Burt's Bees French Green Clay Mask. It leaves my skin so soft, even though you have to mix it yourself.
17Those last 2 sound really good for my oily skin. But I'm not really into flaking for a few days, lol.
