If you're a "foodie" like Yum, a gourmand is someone who truly appreciates good food. In Bella's world, however, gourmand is a classification of the fragrance kind.
While often associated with sweeter notes, gourmand fragrances encompass edible, food-flavored aromas, such as coffee, cupcake, whiskey, chocolate, almond, caramel, vanilla, and even cotton candy. Sweet or spicy, gourmand fragrances have gained popularity in recent times, as these types of aromas possess relaxing, nourishing qualities.
An excellent example of a gourmand scent is the pioneering Angel by Thierry Mugler ($25 to $157), which includes such culinary delights as bergamot, honey, dewberry, red berries, vanilla, caramel, and chocolate. Mmm.

Love these types of scents, but NOT Angel.
I love Stila Creme Bouquet for a fab vanilla-scented fragrance, and Aquolina's Pink Sugar for a caramel-sugar scent.
1mmmmm Angel by Thierry Mugler smells delicious
2Pink Sugar was my fave for years. But now I really like Vera Wang Princess and Jessica Simpson Fancy.
3Hanae Mori and Jill Sander Style are almost in this category. I like them both as not too many people know of them, which make it almost exclusive.
4I've always loved to wear fragrances that smell like food. bath and Body Works helps me achieve this very easily, but i have been in love with Angel for years. It smells like blue cotton candy at the fair and it will be joining my perfume collection sooner than later.
5I don't like foodie/gourmand scents. I won't want to walk around smelling like a cupcake or a brownie all day.
6Love, love, LOVE Pink Sugar and Flowerbomb. I tried Angel and Angel Innocent, but didn't like them much... although maybe I will try Angel again after the comparison to blue cotton candy.
7I love Stila creme bouquet too, I wish Sephora could keep it in stock!
8i think pleasures delight might come under this group also...i could eat it...
