You are probably familiar with Davidoff from way back in 1988, when the brand launched its infamous and sexy cologne for men called Cool Water. I'm willing to bet that you dated a guy or had a brother or Dad that was a huge fan of this instant aphrodisiac.
The female counterpart, Cool Water for Women, was also pretty ubiquitous for a while, and now Davidoff is getting ready to launch another fragrance later this month, called Cool Water Wave for Women. Since the company is expecting it to be a big splash, Davidoff signed beach-sports babe, Gabrielle Reece, as the face of the fragrance. Here's a peek at one of the ads.

Cool Water Wave is made from watermelon, mango, passion fruit, guava, peony, freesia, heliotrope, pink peppercorn, iris wood, sandalwood, amber, and musk. This fragrance makes a hat-trick of seductively spicy scents by Davidoff, but unlike the others, Wave is also fruity, light, and extremely feminine. I happen to like it. If you try it, let me know what you think. Cool Water Wave will come in a 1.7-ounce bottle ($49) or a 3.4-ounce bottle for $59.

Every guy I knew wore this when I was in middle school!! And I LOVED it! Wow, that was over 10 years ago.... sheesh!
1I love Cool Water, every now and again I go back to using it.
2my university a couple years ago had a "mr. coolwater" search hosted by davidoff cool water and some other companies doing a male model campaign. we had a pageant, which was pretty hilarious, and i got to be one of the lucky female judges. they gave me a bottle of coolwater for women, among other things, as a thank-you for judging, but i cannot wear it to this day because so many people started spraying it on themselves that it was ridiculously overwhelming.
3I'll have to test it, I'm searching for a new fragrance.
4Last week I bought Gucci's Envy Me (awesome, btw!) and the lady gave me two Davidoff perfumes samples, including this one. It's ok, but I find it a bit too close to any other lemon-y sport perfumes..
5cool water...it takes me back.
6Cool Water for men takes me back to my 10th grade boyfriend... soooo hotttt.
Anyways, this new one sounds a little too fruity for my taste.
7haha i bought cool water for my very first boy friend in 9th grade!!! totally a blast from the past.
8Wow, I'm a sucker for things named after water. I'll try this someday.
9The guy who sat in front of me in 7th grade geography wore Cool Water. I loved to scoot in close and sniff him.
10I love Cool Water on guys, it smells so...fresh! I will definitely try this new fragrance.
11makes me think of Snoop D o double g
12I owned the Cool Water for Women for years... because it was such a terrible perfume I couldn't wear it. Since this experience was so bad I don't even check Davidoff's news anymore.
