Tour buses aren't just for rock royalty: Bare Escentuals is running one of their own right now. I caught up with founder Leslie Blodgett recently, who told me she loves meeting with fans of the brand. "I use it for my market research," later adding that she polled a room full of Bare Escentuals enthusiasts about the packaging of the brand's forthcoming moisturizer (they wanted a pump, not a tube). Stay tuned next week for more of my interview with her, including her desert island beauty products, and her new favorite fragrance.
If you're in the New York area, today's appearance will be at the Times Square Sephora from 2-4 p.m.!

I should go. I don't have anything better to do today and I was just sitting here thinking about what I was going to do today
1desert island line? that sounds interesting...
2That's pretty cool that she polled a room full of enthusiasts for a product in the works.
3I really like her. She always seems genuinely interested in her consumers and what they want. This is the only line of makeup that I'll shell money out for. If I could talk to her I would tell her that I wish the foundation containers had a plastic piece to cover the holes so that when I am traveling I don't have powder everywhere
4love Bare Esventuals!
5JessNess, I can't believe you have that picture as your avatar! I love The Black Apple and bought that same print for my living room. It reminded me of myself, my husband and our little dog. I have another one of her pictures as my AIM logo and blogged about it not too long ago. Love her.
And Bare Escentuals/Minerals, love their products. I love how my skin looks bare and my freckles show through but everything I don't want shown, is hidden. And it doesn't dry out my already-dry skin, either. Nashville just got a Bare Excentuals boutique but I haven't been able to sneak in there yet. I usually buy my stash from The Cosmetic Market, which is worth a stop if you're ever in the area.
