I've always wondered if men's razors were better than women's. While ours may need to be used around our more (ok, most) sensitive areas, theirs ought to be more user friendly and have less margin for error, as many men shave every day and can't hide any shaving mishaps simply by keeping their pants on. So when I saw Gillette's new battery-operated Fusion Power Phenom Razor, which not only has five blades and a built-in precision trimmer but also a low-battery indicator light (what is this, a razor or an iPod?), I had to give it a go.
At first, I was impressed with the pivot on the blade — I could get a lot closer around my ankles and knees, where I always seem to miss hairs. But somehow as I got further north, first around my upper thighs and underarms, the razor stopped gliding as well (I used a little body wash as shave gel — it is unclear what product, if any, you are meant to use with it). And when I got out of the shower, I was stubbly, even below the knees. So, here's the verdict: The Fusion Power Phenom Razor may be the best a man can get, but as I should have known, a woman can get even better. Want more reviews? What? It didn't work for you? I love the Fusion (though I don't have the special Phenom one). It gives me the closest shave ever.
1Ugh these vibrating beauty products i.e. this razor and mascara scare me a little...if I already cut myself with razors that don't vibrate I can only imagne with this one, and I know I'm going to poke my eye out with these mascaras
2I use mens razors because I'm allergic to most of the crap they put on the female ones.
3I love men's razors, I find that they work so much better. The fusion (though I haven't tried this phenom one) and the mach3 are both fantastic.
4I've never used this power one, but the regular fusion is amazing. My husband had one, and when he left for boot camp I used it all the time, and then he came home from boot with another one, so now we each have one.
5Never tried it, but I think men's razors usually work pretty well.
6I've never gotten the point of vibrating razors, but I do use men's razors sometimes, with great success
7I looove the Fusion! It's all I use anymore.. it started with me stealing my boyfriend's new blades when I'd stay weekends and he finally bought me one of my own and teased me for weeks
But they leave everything so smoooth.
8it didn't work for you? I would have to say this is the best razor i've ever used. I have fine hair and i don't have to shave for close to 3 weeks when i use this!
9it's so amazingly comfortable too, no razor bumps or anything!
I use Anthony shaving cream when I shave and can not believe how soft and smooth my skin is when I'm done. I would give that a shot maybe Bella.
