Back in September, Tommye from Fashionologie and I were killing time at the San Francisco airport, which conveniently happens to have a Sephora. We were on our way to Fashion Week, and since I hadn't had time to clean up my nails, I picked up a package of Sephora Brand Nail Patch ($10). Even though I've been burned before by press-on polish, I decided to try it again. The idea is simple: You just rub the decals on your nails, smooth out any bubbles, and then be on your way.
Initially, I envisioned applying the decals while in the air. That plan was quickly abandoned when I opened the package; the decals smell like nail polish, so it would be pretty rude to apply them in close quarters. Hours later, at the hotel, I got to work. To see how it went, read more.
You know, there's not much story to tell here. Application was ridiculously easy and quick; even as a novice, I smoothed the decals on in less than 10 minutes. What's more, the polish lasted for a week without a single chip — much better than expected. I could see myself using these again, particularly when I want a dark manicure without the inevitable sloppy splashes that get on my cuticles. Ten dollars well spent, in my book.

Those look really nice, like you went and paid for a manicure. I'd definitely be interested in darker colors for this. I totally suck at applying nail polish and always get some on my cuticles whenever I put it on.
1I've always had that problem too, my solution is to paint my nails/toenails at night. When I shower and wash my hair in the morning all the paint comes off my cuticles.
2I am a nail polish idiot myself, and i loathe chips, so I find myself re-doing them every night...UGH. So this rocks my world! And i must say, I would hate the airport so much less if Reagan National had a Sephora!
3I will definitely have to pick this up, nail polish aplication is so hit or miss with me, and to have a sure fire thing like this would be awesome! Thanks Bella!
4Wow! I'm impressed. I've had bad luck with products like this in the past. Nice to know this one works and looks great. Thanks for the review Bella!
5That actually looks really good, I am surprised. I will have to try this, especially if they are available in darker colors. I can't paint my nails myself with a dark color for some reason, it always looks horrible!
6Ha! Psychobabble, I do the same thing! I make all the mess I want and then go at my fingers in the shower in the morning with my exfoliating gloves to take the polish off my fingers and cuticles and it looks like a professional manicure. But before that... I just can't stay in the lines!
7Ooh, I'll have to try these! I had the same brand from Bella's previous review and they really did suck. I'm all for a quick and long-lasting manicure!
8I keep a stash of these at home, for those moments when I'm getting ready to go out, and suddenly wish I had gotten a mani. It's so nice to be able to do your nails, and not have any drying time!
9I think my only gripe about these lovelies is that there aren't a TON of color options... however, they just came out with a new one, sparkly black a la bella's recent Jennifer Lopez post!

10That looks fun..personally I hate manis..I hate sitting and waiting for dry time...and than they chip and I get OCD and want to pick it all off
lol
11I have tried these many times and I love them. The French manicure is great, and super easy way to do them yourself at home. The color does not last a long a regular manicure, but for the price what is a week less of color. The colors also come in lots of different sizes so it will fit just about any size nail. Get them, Love them.
12Do they make these for toes yet? I can never get polish on my tiny baby toenail.
13Benny, they don't for toenails in particular, but if you really wanted to, you could use these on your baby toenail.
14They look good!!!! Wow. Sounds super-easy too.
15What a pretty color!
16Ok I am so going to try those
17Do you have to cut off the edges somehow? I'm desperately trying to figure out how you size them to each woman's different sized nail...
18I love the idea, but my natural nails aren't the "typical" shape, so I doubt this would work for me. Luckily I have a reasonably steady hand.
19ive always wanted to try these. maybe i'll go buy some now...
20How do you make them fit to your nail? They seem so big in the photo and your nails look so tiny and pretty? I have really small fingers, so can you size them?
21i wanna try that!
22has anybody heard of the press on eyeshadow in sephora?
they even have zebra prints!
Wow, I'm impressed!
