That was the worst part of the whole episode for me.

Papaver, I'm with you. Not only was the tAtu cover a wreck, I felt so uncomfortable watching a teenage girl dancing around in her bra. Which makes me feel old and James Dobson-y even though I'm not.

i was thinking at the start of the episode about doogie hauser, and when he decided to lose his virginity with his (very steady) girlfriend it was the Biggest Deal Ever and all our parents were worried that if doogie had sex, we'd all run out and do it, too.

fast forward...20 (eep!) years and you've got sex and near nudity all over this show. the idea that sex at this age is not the best idea is hardly considered (to say nothing of drugs and alcohol, but that's a different "why do i watch this?" rant). i was consoling myself with at least the actors in the scenes are "legal" even if the people they're playing are not.

and then little 15 year old taylor had to dance around in her bra.

Bella, any chance you could do a how-to on how to achieve Blair's fantastic lipstick look? I've kind of figured out the shimmery eyeshadow, and I really like how she pulls of dark lipstick and a fair(ish) complexion all the time. I just can't find a dark lipstick that'd look good with my super fair skin.

Yeah, it was gross seeing that guy take photos of Lil'J and her friend. Bella, is it just me or do Blair and Serena wear the same shade of blush/bronzer? They both look summertime fab!

I'm workin' on trying to get the Gossip Girl makeup straight from the source. Not even Morrissey driving a double-decker bus could stop me from sleuthing it out... I'll keep you posted!

Aagh, the nail polish question foiled me!! I thought Blair looked simply gorgeous in this episode, especially at the end in that dress. So pretty.

5/6 without even seeing the episode - and thank goodness I didn't - a guy taking pics of Jenny in her underwear - gross and innapropriate. of course, almost everything on tv can be classified as gross and innapropriate - what have we come too that we are so obcessed with graphic violence, gore, bad language, sex, and nudity. I agree with a lot of what James Dobson says because it is degrading to humanity the things that we show on tv and then copy - why do you think so many want censorship?
