Get the Fall 2008 Look: Yves St. Laurent

While looks from straight off the runways are not necessarily meant to be taken literally, I like to incorporate bit of high fashion here and there to enhance my style — particularly on my fingernails.

Each day this week we've been giving away awesome prizes from Yves St. Laurent's beauty line, and that's got me all excited about their fashion lineup. Drawn from YSL's Fall 2008 show, I've got some great nail polish color suggestions so that you can include elements of this minimal, futuristic look into your routine. Take a gander at my widget below for some ideas and check out more of my runway-inspired choices from Karen Walker and Givenchy.

So i am a weirdo, but I named my new (used) car after this collection. My car has a black line running on the bottom that reminded me of the makeup and it is silver, which reminded me of the the color combinations used for this collection.

another good one is OPI Yoga-ta Get This Blue (fun name too) which is a beautiful dark blue from the India collection - I got it once at a spa and after that I was obcessed, I bought three bottles! here is the link to see the color, but BEWARE! the color is much darker than it shows on the website (think like a midnight blue) and much prettier than that sickly blue they show:

(I don't know if anyone even cares), but apparently when you click on that link it only goes to the Try-On This Color Page - you have to click on "India" which is on the left-hand side of the page and then go all the way down to Yoga...
