She's too pale to rock that look. Plus, that lipstick color just makes her look awful and you can see brown hairs along her hairline. TACKY!!

She doesn't pull it off because it isn't her and I don't know why she chooses to look like her boyfriend's ex and how she's in a relationship with someone who apparently likes for her to look like his ex instead of like herself. There's nothing wrong with pale skin though...but be yourself, not someone else. Like the quote says "Why be a second rate version of someone else when you could be a first rate version of yourself?"

I just think the hair is too dark for the pale skin. It's too goth for me. And, I respect fashion choices, but, it's as though she's goth without trying...and I don't think that's what she was going for. What do I know, though!

I know this is going to differ from the majority opinion, but I actually kind of like it. It's vintage-y in feel, but it's different from Dita's look - a bit darker, not quite as true-to-the-era as Dita but still pretty awesome. And as for her being unnaturally pale? It IS possible to be that pale, and it bugs me that people think otherwise.

That said, I do think it's fairly silly of her to try to piggyback Dita's thing. Presumably she did it because MM likes that look - but it wasn't her style before the way it was with Dita. So it would be nice if she were able to find her way back to a style that is *her* choice.

No matter what the look, it's just wrong to make yourself look like your (now ex)boyfriend's previous girlfriend.

Oh lord...I love this girl, I think she's a great actress and she's so cute, but I HATE the whole Dita Von Teese thing. I find Dita to be pretty creepy-looking with her super-pale face and severe makeup, and I'm not loving it on Evan either.

Emalove, i completely agree.. i actually think the whole super-retro look is tacky as hell... it went away for a reason.. its nice to see in time pieces about the 40s and 50s but.. everyday? please... its annoying.

I think she looks alright. It's a little pathetic that she's trying to copy Dita's look. I think she maybe would have pulled this off better with a brighter lip color and maybe a less severe hair color.

I don't agree with people who are hating on Dita. It's her thing. It's what she's loved since she was a kid. She's never going to be a person who CARES to look modern or "of the moment" and it's not like to she's going to change herself to please people who don't like how she chooses to look in the first place. And I don't see anything creepy about her appearance in any way. She pulls it off and it's who she is. If someone doesn't like it, then don't go for the same look.

I'm not a fan. The look doesn't bother me so much on Dita, (probably because I've never seen her differently,) but it just screams "trying too hard" on Evan. I think if I were her, and I had wanted to go old school, I might have tried a retro red shade, a la Joan from Mad Men. And that lipstick is a really unflattering shade, to boot!

I don't understand why you would copy your ex-boyfriend's ex-wife's look. what is she trying to get him back or something? she had to realize that it was going to be super obvious and everyone was going to criticize her for it - and the look just looks awful on her. I like the waves, but black does not work for her and those drawn-in eyebrows are just plain ugly. and she does look so much older and uglier too...

I think the palette she went with washes her out. I don't dislike the retro look, I just think she chose the wrong shades.

God, if that wasn't someone trying to be a replacement... I don't know what else could be. She left him (Dita), and I still don't know how I got this information.. Because she was not willing to live with and accept his destructive lifestyle. And then he starts dating a teen and she becomes a copy.

i absolutely love manson and despise this woman. he has said before that he never once influenced her choices regarding her style. it was her idea to morph into dita-bot. she is a complete poser, and he'll be much better off without her. people are so hateful towards him...he really is an amazing man. i wish he'd get back together with rose.

i think she looks good, minus the eyebrows. i really liked it when it was dark with some red like at one of the premieres for 'the wrestler'. however, i liked it best when she was doing the pin up thing but was still a blonde.

that being said, it's SO CREEPY how much she's copied dita.

I half love it half hate it. I love the whole dark and mysterious look with pale skin, I'm a bit of a sucker for a goth girl. She shouldn't have copied Dita so blatantly though, it makes her look like an idiot.

She's got the lightest skin I've ever seen and I like the contrast with the dark hair. It's sad that it's because of Marilyn but it's a nice change. That being said she's much prettier with a little bit of a tan and blonde-ish hair.
