You know those perfume sampler sheets that are tucked under flaps in the pages of magazines? I used to find them a bit overpowering and annoying, but now it's quite the opposite. For a Bella like me, they've actually become a convenient way to window-shop in my pj's, all while testing out the latest fragrances in one place.
So, after making a hilarious discovery in my mom's bathroom — she had a secret stash of samplers piled in the drawer for "fancy events" — this got me to thinking. Whether you hoard these testers or just ignore them, what's your take on these fragrant sheets?

I normally toss 'em out, but have been known to put them in suitcases or my underwear drawer if I like the fragrance. But for some of the mags I subscribe to, I've sent them an email or letter asking for a perfume free edition - most of them actually do have that!
1I actually kind of like your mom's idea - haha. I usually just sniff them in the mag and then sometimes I just ignore them totally. I got my Glamor in the mail a week or so ago and it has almost 10 different things for perfume in it. I thought that was a little insane.
2Hah, when I subscribed to Allure my husband would hand it to me saying "here's your stinky magazine" They put way too many samples in that magazine. I used to try perfumes from them but I've noticed the scent on me is very different than if you try it from a bottle.
3I just ignore them.
4I use them as drawer liners or stick them in particularly stinky sneakers.
5I put one I like under my seat of my car. It makes a nice temp. air-freshener.
6I HATE these things, they're so overwhelming and always make my nose hurt. Yuck. My mom hates them too, she's delivers mail and some days has huge stacks of magazines and comes home smelling like a perfume factory! gross
7I keep them in my magazine, but my husband always complains about the different smells. He really likes subtle things, so all the perfume really overwhelms him.
8I usually rip them out and sniff them and then toss them. When I was little my mom would pick the ones she liked and put them in her lingerie drawer.
9I put them in my dresser drawers
10I open them all then forget which ones I like so it doesn't really matter. I should save them.. didn't think of that.
11i sniff them, then put them in my dresser drawers.
12I used to rip the pages nad save them all but I found this to be useless. If I'm curious about a fragrance, I'm smell it right then and there. I basically just use them for window-shopping and sampling now
13I love those little strips and always try them or save them to try later, unless I dislike the scent. I appreciate the chance to try a new fragrance. I also love little sample packets that sometimes come on cards in magazines.
14I use them to scent my purse and wallet.
15OK, I probably should be embarrassed, but I'm laughing at myself so I'll 'fess up: I had NO IDEA you could WEAR the perfume in magazines!!! Totally thought it was just for smelling. Wow. Just wow.
16Most perfume gives me a horrible headache, so I usually get rid of the samples as soon as I open the magazine. I really appreciate the samples packaged in those little plastic things, since they don't stink up the whole magazine.
17I use them as a bookmark.
18I sniff them and then if I like I'll use them on myself or to freshen things up and if I don't I throw them away.
19I hate when magazines put more than one scent sample inside. The scents all mix together and smell kind of gross, so I usually rip out the ads and throw them away (along with the subscription cards!).
20I usually just sniff them from the magazine. I agree that if there are too many you can't get a real idea of the scent and then the whole magazine is stinky.
21I rip them out and toss them because I'm so allergic to them!
22i've never thought to use them in my car or drawers but it's a good idea
23if i feel like it, i sniff them in the mag, but i can't say as i've ever rubbed one on myself or ever ripped one out for any reason
I travel with them in my carry-on luggage!! That way I can smell good without having to check any baggage because of perfume bottles!
24Oh, I'm SO OCD about my magazine's that I never ever open or rip out anything!
25I rip them out and put them in various drawers of cloths and the closet.
26I save them and put into my closet, drawers and/or clothes storage - the ones I like, that is!!!
27Nothing...sometimes I open them, sometimes I don't. I never tear them out or anything though.
28I'm pregnant and the smell of most perfumes really gets to me, so I make my husband rip them out of my magazines and dispose of them before I even open them. He does it automatically now. God love him

29My best friend and I have this bizarre little ritual. We save up all of our perfume samples until we have a pretty good amount of them. Then for each sample we read all of the copy to see what "notes" we are supposed to look for pay special attention to the words by the flap-- sometimes a scent is a "discovery," other times it is an "experience," sometimes it's just a "lift here". Then we smell it, rate it, and put it into the "like" or "don't like" piles. When we're done smelling all of them we re-smell the ones that we like. It's weird, I know, but it's fun too.
30I save them and stick them in gift bags when I wrap presents =)
31i rip it out and use them as bookmarks!
32I slip one into the center pocket of my purse so I get a little scent when I think I've lost my keys/ call phone/ credit card. It's very soothing.
33i stick them in my undies drawers...smells great
34I put them in my pillow cases. I only put the light in the pillow cases so they end up blending nicely. My pillows always smell great
357 pillows of heaven
36I tend to rip them out and throw them away, I usually to get headaches from the perfume. Every once in a while I may smell it before I throw it away, but it is rare when I do.
37I sniff the hell out of them
Or dab. I'm a cheapskate heehee.
38I put them everywhere-- dresser drawers, shoes, purse, car, coat pockets. Never tried pillows though, that's a good idea.
39I really appreciate those perfume samples in magazines! In fact, I wish they would dedicate a whole magazine to fragrance samples of all the new perfumes, or at least a supplement booklet inside the mag to fragrance samples. I am a self-professed fragrance nut, so I'm constantly looking for new fragrances to add to my collection. Obviously they're not all going to be good, but at least you can weed the bad ones out immediately.
40I save them for when I pack my suitcase to go on trips and then I'll put one or two in to keep the clothes smelling good. I also like to take a few on the trip just because they are lighweight and you can change your perfume up everynight that way. I also do like some other said and use them to put in drawers.
