25 Reasons to Not Skip the SPF

If you're going to spend significant time outside this weekend, don't forget the sunscreen. Whether your skin is very pale or very dark, slathering on SPF is the best way to protect yourself when you're outside. (Even if you don't burn, your skin absorbs the ultraviolet rays.) seeing my mum go through chemo, to be aware, it may not be the answer to all types of cancer, but at least its an awareness, with looking after our skin and guarding against skin cancer. someone comment about another colour skin. black people also tan, its how the sun works, we all tan, and if it was hot enough, we'd probably all burn too, because skin dries out, also cancer isnt colour-blind!

I am faithful about sunblock, I keep bottles of it everywhere, in the cars, in my purse, in both bathrooms, so that I can slather it or spray it on me, my husband, and two children. I was furious two weeks ago when my sister in law let my fair skinned six year old swim for six hours with no sunblock, I had to keep her out of school for a day because the blisters on her face popped! I'm still mad, I will continue to be mad, probably forever!

Wow! Some of those look like the people are still wearing white clothing. The lace one looked kinda cool though. . . in a really painful way. lol.

Some of my worst sunburns could definitely make this list. I can think of three or four right off the top of my head. Thankfully, I think I've finally learned my lesson and lather up with the SPF.

Eeks. Some of these remind me of the awful, awful sunburn I got in Hawaii. I did put sunscreen on, but then I hung out in the ocean for a very long time and ended up with the backs of my legs and my back turning completely bright red. THAT was awful, I couldn't sleep well for like three days, and I peeled for almost a month.

Owie. I don't think I've ever been that burnt before. Some of those burns look close to third degree burns!

I haven't really sunbathed in years and still I get new freckles and brown spots all the time, most likely damage from years ago. I wish I have been wiser then.

As someone who has had spots removed and was told it was pre-cancerous at 13 I have been on top of my SPF. I always wear at least a SPF 50. I still tan through it even if I don't burn
