One thing I love about Alicia Keys: She's always taking risks with her style, something that too few stars seem to do these days. Her latest look centers on a jeweled hair accessory called a tikka. They're traditionally worn for special events in India, and if you like the Bollywood look, these tikkas aren't too expensive. Do you like this style choice, or could you do without it?

Her eye makeup looked AMAZING in hi def but that THING needs to go. Ick. And the hair was blah.
1I like the lashes, but the shadow is way too metallic for me. I always think that about her eye makeup...it's 80s-frosty.

6Her makeup is great, but she has too much other stuff going on with her looks..the earring, the tikkas, the silver on her dress.
7too much going on! if she wanted to do the head-thingy she should have skipped the earrings or vice versa ... way too much gray.
8She looks like she slept late and just threw her hair up, put on some giant earrings, and put on way too much eyeshadow.
9I hate saying it, but sometimes lifting looks from a different cultures can look costume-y unless you are really subtle about it. I mean, if I wore a traditional African headdress or jewelry (I'm the whitest girl ever) I might get some strange looks too. But in the end, I think that horrid eyeshadow is probably what really kills it, not the multi-cultural sampling.
10good concept, but executed it looks like bird droppings on her forehead.

In this case, Ms. Keys should have left her ultra swanky hotel room without those earrings! I agree with tiggy, they do look like dead mice!
The dress was amazing, she should have toned it down a bit. The tikka, isn't my taste per se, but I think it's a cute addition.

20I love the tikka look, but she would have looked better if her hair was parted straight down the middle and slicked down a bit. She really didn't put much effort into her hair

26I hate everything about this - the tikka is just wierd, the earrings are distracting, the eyeshadow is too blegh, and she looks sleepy - what happened?! she usually looks gorgeous, but the hair is blah, the makeup is awful, and the dress was ugly...
