Braid in the front, bun in the back! Sienna Miller showed off the milkmaid braid at the Golden Globes in January, and today, the 'do was spotted on Diane Kruger at the Cannes Film Festival — though Kruger's braid, unlike Miller's, is real.

7To me, Sienna's looks like a milkmaid costume. Diane's is charming! But I think both of them are beat by Lisa Kudrow's version of this do that she sported on Friends a few years back, in the Thanksgiving football episode. She wears hairstyles like that as no one else could!

44They both look cute but in a completely different way. Sienna's is red carpet worthy while Diane's (which I prefer) is much more casual. I could pull of Diane's but I wouldn't even attempt the look Sienna was going for, it's not my style.
45Diane is able to pull it together better and it appears as if Sienna is trying to hard to wear the "Milk Maid" look. Over all, Diane is stunning.
