I love the festive look of false eyelashes but have trouble swallowing the price. Many times I've passed by this lash line in my local drugstore, and decided to pick up the Andrea Modlash Starter Kit ($5.79) for a holiday party.
I was most intrigued by the applicator – I've used tweezers before but this fits the entire length of the lashes and looked to me like I could get quite the grip, but did I? Below you'll find a photo with eyeshadow and liner but no mascara . . .
See the after shot (and pictures of the application process) when you read more.

I'd definitely pay five bucks again just for the handy applicator. It made all the difference.

Wow, great job. You have such intense beautiful eyes.
1Those look fabulous!
I should try them out. I've tried to put on falsies before, but I just can't seem to even get them to look right.
2This is crazy!
3I saw one of those eyelash applicators at Sephora and was wondering how they worked. Thanks for the info, I'm gonna try it!
PS your eyes look beautiful with or without the falsies!
4Nice brows Bella
Yay for the non-skinny browed girls!
5But aren't these fake lashes bit asymmetrical in length, with one on your left eye (right or us) seemingly longer than the right?
I agree with Bella Donna, I'm loving the brows! Maybe I'll try these falsies.
6Wow!! They worked out nicely!! Gotta agree with BellaDonna & neonbee. Your eyebrows are niice!
7While the photos are nice, I don't really see how this is a review. You've said nothing about the product or the applicator except a brief 'yay.' It's frustrating, honestly, as these kinds of products would be a godsend but I feel no better after your post about buying this product.
8Great brows Bella!
9I have the worst luck with falsies. I've honestly glued my eyelids together before!
10might just give it a shot ... they didn't stay on last time ... except maybe I didn't get the right brand ...
11I've used these and I LOVE them. I have really short, flat lashes, so these help tons. And they're a lot easier to apply than some of the more expensive brands I've tried.
12Stalinforever, "I'd definitely pay five bucks again just for the handy applicator. It made all the difference." That statement along with the photos to illustrate the ease of product application, and the four and a half star rating Bella gave the product says it all.
13Luckily, I don't really have a need for false lashes because I think they're kind of a pain in the butt. I only use them for costumes and stuff.
They do look great though, and the applicator sounds like it would make the process much easier.
14How was the glue and removal of the lashes? I have to wear fake lashes for my belly dance performance and I really do not want too because I have sensitive eyes
15Wowsa! Bella, I am off to the store to buy some! I hope I look half as amazing as you do when I use them! Your eyes are gorgeous!!
16Hot lashes!
17I wear false eyelashes almost daily because I have what I'd like to call severe eyelash OCD. This is one of my favorite brands and I'm glad Bella reviewed it.
18Is "Bella" different women posting under this name? Because i could swear i have seen photos of her before in other posts and her eyes were green and her skin much lighter,im lost:(
19tropicalsiren- all of the sites have multiple editors that post
20Yep, we're a team, tropicalsiren. No need to check your glasses.
21Thank You Girls!! now i understand so many things that didnt make sense before lol, man im so out of it lately
22Darling, you're simply fabulous! It's nice to know that false lashes can make your eyebrows look more intense, too. I sadly suffer from a lack of brows or eyelashes, boo
And thanks for clearing up the team-element to sugar
23o wow these look gorgeous on you!!! i must try these ASAP, i love it!!! thank you!
24Tropicalsiren, I was thinking the same thing about Bella being a different person. Thanks for clearing things up, Bella (or Bellas)!
25Oh my God I was so confused too! I thought there was one beauty editor (bella) and another fashion editor (fab) etc etc. and that you all worked in one office, not that you all posted on every page!
Everything makes so much more sense now, I had the same confused thought when I saw that pair of eyes (which are beautiful by the way! And gorgeous eyebrows!).
As a sidenote, anyone know anything about making eyebrows grow in quicker? I've been trying to grow mine in for months (!) and I still have a little bald spot on the left one, is it gone forever?!
26very_berry- the editors do not work on every page. There are multiple Bella editors that work just on Bella, just as there are multiple Fab editors that work just on Fab. Every page has multiple editors but they do all work in the same office.
I have been around long enough now that I do remember a time when there was only one editor and Pop was the only page
27I have always loved these lashes!
28the brows are flawless!!
29revlon also has the applicator, plus lashes that have adhesives (plus an extra strip) so you don't need glue.
30Wow, that looks really fabulous. Though I guess you'd be able to tell they were false if you knew, they don't necessarily look over the top or costumey, just glam!
31I would love to wear fake eyelashes everyday, and it looks like now I can! Thanks for the great review Bella!
