This year, it was all about the celeb fragrance — whether it was Paris Hilton flinging her Fairy Dust our way or Anne Hathaway being Magnifique in one comment-provoking ad. While there were many worthy fragrances that launched over these past twelve months — both celebrity backed and star-free — the Best Fragrance Debut of 2008 goes to. . .
Harajuku Lovers by Gwen Stefani.
OK, as long-time readers know, I didn't dig these scents, but fragrance is so subjective, eh? For me, I really enjoyed Tom Ford White Patchouli, a hauntingly sexy scent. There Is no doubt that the bottles are adorable. But, please... the scents were bad... really really bad. I call unfairness due to cuteness (of the bottles!).

2The bottles are cute, but I'm a grown up, and the scents are really bad. I agree with rockd_out_vxn, cute bottles won it!
3how is it the most of the 'winners' have been all products that people don't even think are all that great? just look at the comments theyve all been getting.
4Indeed. Cute bottles but the scents aren't that great. One of them smells like really potent baby powder.
5I think they're cute and I like the concept of different scents. However there was only 1 of the scents I found even remotely tolerable..and I wouldn't even want to wear that :|
6I don't like the other scents, but I do actually like G - smells like Bath & Body Work's Coconut Lime Verbena.
7Ugh, I think these scents suck...the packaging is cute, but that's about it.
8Sorry, I helped cause their winning. It was just I didn't like any of the perfume they had up to vote on and the packaging was so adorable...of course I had to pick it:)
