2008 was a rough year for magazines — CosmoGirl and Radar were only two that folded — but one new title is hoping to thrive amidst the doom and gloom. And considering how well the "green" beauty market is growing, Organic Beauty might do just that. The bimonthly magazine focuses on eco-friendly skin care, makeup, and hair care, with additional information on organic supplements and fitness techniques.

It seems interesting but I doubt I'd ever subscribe.
1I love natural beauty products. This is a great idea.
2I saw this one yesterday at the health food store. While it looked interesting, I doubt I would ever pick it up. Its a little too niche oriented for me.
3Hmmm.... sounds promising. I might have to pick up a copy!
4Ooh, I'm so going to buy this! Right up my alley.
5I wonder if they use recycled paper... they should have an online version now that would be eco friendly

7The cover looks quite tacky. Conceptually it's great (not the cover, the 'zine), but I think if they want to appeal to more people and succeed financially, they need to up the quality. This looks....fairly lame, if I'm to simply judge a book by its cover. The standard font, the incredibly boring cover? It screams meh. Not even screams, actually...just kind of states it.
8But if it works on its image a bit, I think it could be awesome. more people are starting to get into this.
I bought this past weekend and it has alot of useful info, especially if you are turning to a more natural lifestyle.
9It really encourages people to actually look at what the ingredients are in the products we apply to our skin everyday. It's kinda scary how many chemicals are in our beauty products, and that the exact result those chemicals are having on our health.
