I'm always game to try a lip gloss. For me, it has to have that perfect balance of shine and texture. As I scoped out your lip gloss reviews on the product review website, I came across MAC Lustreglass ($14). And since it only had a 2.5-star rating overall, I wondered why there was no love? Here's what Seka21 had to say:
In MAC, all of the testers had the applicators snipped off. This is probably to discourage people to use the samples. This of course led me to think the product came with a doe foot applicator tip. It doesn't — it's a brush. I opened my product to find a brush that already had parts that were separated from the main body of the brush. Within two uses the brush was a mess. The lid therefore got all sticky and gloppy, and I want to throw it out the window. Stick to Plush and Lipglass.

Seka21 the testers are suppose to have the applicator ends cut off, they usually have glasses around on the counter with doe foot applicators to use and then you toss it out.
I've had pretty okay experience with this, instant gold is my fav.
Mine never got too messy, I think with the brsh vs sponge tip you need to more careful when screwing the cover on.
1I don't give these glosses any love because they're sticky as hell!!! Great colors, but I can't stand the tacky feeling on my lips.
2I've just discovered that Nars Lip Gloss is my "holy grail" as they say. It's not supersticky and surprisingly moisturizing. I love the shades they come in. I like their doe foot applicator too, it's a bit smaller than the kind MAC makes. I just got the color Stella which gives me that "I just finished a strawberry popsicle" look. No more MAC glosses for me!
3I love lustreglass.
BUT I have to say Dazzleglass is better.
Hard to find, but well worth it!
The trick with the brush wand is to pull it out slowly
and glide the wand out on one side of the tube. It
prevents excess gloss from coming out and being
wasted around the opening and getting sticky.
The tacky feeling could be from pumping the wand
4in and out to get more lipgloss on the brush. It
pushes air in and dries out the gloss. Instead of
pumping, try twisting the wand around...
I hope this helps!!

LOL was she complaining about the tester or the product she bought?
5One of the best glosses I've found was also the cheapest: ELF lip shines are surprisingly moisturizing and aren't too sticky either. The colors are nice and for a buck, who can say no? I don't like many of their other products, but the gloss is awesome!
6I actually love my Lustreglass - I spent an hour this morning searching the house because I couldn't find one of them! It goes on slightly sticky but after about 10 minutes I find it loses that and lasts longer than most other glosses.
7I hate that tacky lip feeling. I'll definitely skip this one!
