When you spend beaucoup bucks on a beauty item, you want to be overjoyed, elated . . . even giddy about your purchase. So when I saw that MissTiffany reviewed a $48 powder, I took notice. She even thinks that Jane Iredale PurePressed Base Pressed Mineral Powder in Autumn is the best mineral makeup around. I'm glad she's found a product that works. So now, take it away, MissTiffany:
"I think Jane Iredale is the best mineral makeup out there. This PurePressed Base is wonderful. It blends beautifully with my skin. I haven't experienced any breakouts and my makeup lasts through the whole entire day. I can't say enough."

A little pricey for me...
1I agree...$50 for a powder? I don't see myself spending that.
2my esthetician swears by this makeup and her skin is flawless. I haven't tried it though. There is a spa near me that sells it and I've been meaning to go and check it out but it is very pricey.
3I use this foundation too, and I LOVE it.
4It is expensive, but it lasts a REALLY long time. You don't need to use very much of it when doing your face in the morning. It's also really good for your skin, especially if you're acne-prone.
I use this foundation in Autumn, too. I really like it and I think it's been good for my skin. It's not full coverage though. And although they recommend buying two - one for summer and one for winter - I usually top it of with MAC MSFN in a lighter or darker color if it needs to be adjusted.
5Yes it's expensive. And I would normally never spend so much on makeup. But I have tried every kind of mineral makeup out there and this is, hands down, the best. I always come back to it. I found it through the dermatologist I work for. They sell it at the office and it is the best makeup out there for anyone (sensitive skin, acne-prone, oily, dry). This is definitely makeup you can sleep in without any damage to your skin. The coverage is light at first but you can build it up easily. I have used it after a chemical peel and it covers up everything. It doesn't make me oily or break out and it lasts all day
I don't have enough good things to say and
I am really surprised I don't hear more about it! They have liquid and loose powder versions as well.

8I love this stuff: it's the only thing that doesn't make me break out and it looks really natural.
9Question! When applying, do you have to use a kabuki brush? Also, Is it considered a foundation when it says pressed power?
