For the Critics' Choice Awards, she took it way back to the '50s, wearing fat curls in her hair and plush fake lashes on her lids. It's a little Dita Von Teese, but somehow, Katy makes it her own. She has a cute face...always reminds me of Zooey Deschanel a bit. I think this makeup is her usual, retro style.
1I really like her makeup. Her falsies are really nice. I think the hair ages her a lot though.

I like this look. She has very lovely skin, and I'd show it off too.

16I don't get why everyone is falling over themselves about her. She has such a strange face to me. Annoying on all fronts: music, personality, style. Can she go away already?

18I can't tell if it's the makeup or if I just don't like her face, but something about this is not working for me. I think that this "old Hollywood pinup" look she's doing is maybe just not as original or as exciting as she thinks--at least to me.
