the make-up is lovely! i think her normal hair do looks really matronly, so i think this is like a nice 40s version of what she's got. i prefer this, i have to say.
also, and maybe this is because i'm looking for myself, but wouldn't this be a nice look for a bride? i don't mean that in a bad way - it's just glowy, pretty yet quite natural-looking, but it's not too washed out .
