Nominated for her role in HBO's True Blood, Anna Paquin walked the Golden Globe red carpet with confidence. Maybe she's hopeful for a win tonight or maybe she's just happy with the way her look turned out. She wore a beautifully draped purple gown and chose complementary makeup to go with it. The lips are clearly the focal point, as she went a little more subdued with the cheek and eye makeup. And though she's been wearing her hair blond for a while, I have to say, I prefer her as a brunette. Are you feeling Anna's look?

No.
1She looks adorable!
2Ugh! Can't stand that blonde. I think that and the color palette she chose just ages her.
3She does not look good.
4Her eyebrows are wonking me out
5should've gone with more eye-flattering makeup
6Her hair is that blonde because of her role in True Blood, but yeah... it doesn't suit this look.
7The hair and makeup are the wrong colors for her. The hair looks awful. She needs some liner under her eyes to make them look bigger.
8everything about this is wrong. i soo want to like her but she always has something off, whether its hair or makeup.
9Dead girl lips? No...
10the hair is awful. i hate her as a blonde. she was actually attractive as a brunette, ever since she went blonde i can't see her prettiness anymore!
i would have liked to see her with her hair down, maybe some nice loose curls. the eyes i don't hate, but i feel like she could have had a softer look with a pretty pink blush and maybe a nude lip. i feel like the foundation she's wearing looks very thick and caked on and i think i recall from watching true blood her skin isn't the best... i can definitely empathize but a good makeup artist can cover without making it look so...odd.
11the lipstick just isn't working
12she isn't looking good
13gross.
14I agree; I definitely prefer her as a brunette. I think the blond washes her out, and her hair back like that is so boring - and it looks kind of dirty underneath the blond (like silver). The makeup is fine, nothing special, but her eyebrows look wierd. I don't understand; I think she is uniquely pretty, but she looks terrible here...
15YA ITS THE LIPS AND EYEBROWS THAT ARE OFF BUT MAN SHE IS A GREAT ACTRESS AND I LOVE "TRUE BLOOD"
16her eyes look super sunk in. and the lips remind me of a vampire. ><</p> 17
She has close, deep-set eyes. The extremely arched brows and the heavy black liner make her eyes look smaller. She could use some contouring around her face and on her cheeks to add some depth. The dark hair also helped to frame her face and make the ratio of skin to eyes look "better". A natural look might be the way to go.
18Her hair and makeup look terrible!
19i think she looks pretty
20i like her hair brown better though
I think that she looks pretty terrible. Both her hair and makeup aren't doing anything for her.
21I think she looks really old here...this is not a flattering look for her at all!
22Horrible skin, horrible hair, horrible lipstick, horrible eyes, everything is so... ugh!
23Ah, the dress is horrible too!
In the show she looks good with the blond hair, I don't know why it doesn't look so well here.
24btw I don't know if it's her acting or the way her character is written but I don't like her at all in the show, wich is weird because I liked her character in the books
Put your hair down... lol. Other than that she looks alright.
25This look is aging her. In a bad way. Really bad.
26Baaaaad photo..shes normally so pretty!!
27I love the look though (seen other photos)
Not the best look. Based on this pic, I think she should have worn her hair down, or at least partially down. You can't cover bad skin with a ton of foundation, trust me, I learned that well in high school!
She could have gone for a bit more "glow" in the cheeks department,
and a less matte look overall. I think a neutral/pink lip gloss, professionally styled brows and lighter shimmery shadow would have really suited her!
28Eyebrows are arched/tweezed way too high. She needs to let her eyebrows grow back naturally. She also needs to fix her gap teeth.
