Unless you've been hiding under a rock, you'll know that NARS Orgasm blush is a favorite of makeup artists and customers alike. The warm pink shade with golden shimmer really does seem to flatter most skin tones. Last year, the iconic brand with the iconic product introduced a lip gloss and nail polish in the same shade. But, when reader Mizz_Jennii tried NARS Lip Gloss in Orgasm ($24), she wasn't that impressed, calling it "easily duplicated." Ouch. Here's her review below:
I had to try this gloss after hearing so much great stuff about the blush and nail color. OK, not impressed at all! It's a pretty color — very universal. I prefer my MAC Lipglass in Nymphette: same color match and it's cheaper!

1I love Nars Orgasm gloss. And blush. I personally think the consistency of Nars gloss is far superior to MAC's (much less sticky/tacky), so that alone makes it worth the few extra dollars to me.
2Aimeeb, what's the name of the close cousin? $24 is a bit much for a lip gloss.
3While I hate MAC Lip Glass, there has got to be a more affordable alternative. I mean, come on, it's just lip gloss.
4I have to agree--I don't like NARS lipglosses (they smell kinda weird to me and I just don't like the texture either), and at $24 a pop they're just too much for me. I'm a big MAC fan but I also like a lot of the L'Oreal Color Juice glosses--really affordable and they last just as long as the pricier ones.
5I have to disagree! I LOVE my Nars lipglosses, I love the orgasm one and turkish delight and i have a double ended one too. They don't smell too me and the colors are so pretty there are so many to choice from, and I think they go on very smoothly. I hate MAC lipglass bc it's insanely sticky and gets in my hair when it's windy.

8I don't like it either. My sister bought it a while back and I had to try it. It's sticky and just not that impressive. I think the name is the hook rather than the product itself.
9Nars lip gloss smells funny because it is notorious for going rancid very quickly...not worth the money. I also HATE the Orgasm gloss. A SA tried to sell it to me because he thought I was in high school, and it's a high school girl type of color. Ugh. Although, I do appreciate the fact that I must have good skin
