Recently reader Nakeeyark was in a pinch. A "Buy Two, Get One Free" sale at her local drugstore prompted her to try out Wet 'n' Wild's H2O Proof Liquid Eyeliner in Ultra Black ($4). She was impressed with this basic black shade, and here's what she had to say:
"I'm not a huge fan of liquid eyeliner. I much prefer MAC's gel Fluidlines. However, I needed some black eyeliner as I didnt have any to wear with my red lipstick. The staying power is unbelieveably good, and the black is a true black — no blue or brown to be found. I think the brush part of the handle is a tad too long, making it kind of difficult to apply the eyeliner, so I will probably cut the brush into a slant. For the price, however, this can't be beat."

I'm a liquid liner addict! I've tried most drugstore brand ones, and L'Oreal Lineur Intense is by far my fave!
1Wow sounds pretty okay for the price. I don't wear liner very often, for some reason it looks odd on me but on occasion I'll do up the liquid liner, thus far Almay has been my fav but maybe if I ever run out of it I'll try this one.
2I've tried this and for the price, it can't be beat. That said, the handle is a bit unweildy and taking it off is kind of hard too. They weren't kidding when they said water proof! I also saw very slight flaking, but again, for the price, it's ok.
I'm with emalove though, tried a bunch of drug store brands and I'm totally in love with L'Oreale's Lineur Intense! It's like liquid and pencil in one! Liquid intensity, pencil-like use.
3I've never tried this, but I haven't had much luck with wet n wild products. I love liquid liner though, for a dramatic look
4Ive tried this..it says H2O proof...it really is. Took me forever to get it off! But good stuff
