I don't know many people that actually enjoy shaving or waxing. But what I do know, is how much of a relief it is to find a hair removing product that actually works. That's what reader Steph55 found in Parissa Quick and Easy Wax Strips for Face and Bikini ($8). Here's what she had to say about these all-in-one strips:
"I stopped shaving because I grew tired of the maintenance. Waxing is a great alternative but can be very messy. Parissa Wax Strips are not messy and they are quick and easy to use with minimal pain which makes hair removal so much more bearable. I feel these are the best wax strips on the market. Because of their high quality they enable me to do a complete hair removal which saves me time, money, and the embarrassment from having to go to a salon."

3Sorry about my multiple post. Stupid computer.
4@acemonkey:
I remember getting these at Shopper's Drug Mart, but I imagine you could find them at any drugstore.
5You can order these at Drugstore.com; I agree--these things are fantastic!
6sounds good. I might try it.
7They don't always work as well as you think they will.
8I like these a lot. They definitely work well. I buy mine at Whole Foods. They even have the little ones for eyebrows and (aherm) mustaches-type areas. ha.
9thanks!
10Looks like it's time for me to play guinnea pig again..
11Hmmm...I think I might have to try these.
12I want to try a bikini wax again, but this time I'm going pro. I sissied out last time after one rip, so I was "au naturale" on one side, and...mangy on the other!
Wax strips are AWESOME for brows, though. Just gotta be careful where the edges go, so you don't overdo it...but it's a dream for the clean-up of random hairs outside your desired brow line. One yank and done!
13$8 for 16 strips is a great price if they actually work. I THINK I'LL GIVE 'EM A TRY!
14Hmm, interesting. . I use Nair that's formulated for the bikini line and it doesn't burn/irritate my skin. Shaving the bikini line is an all around bad idea and I'm too chicken to wax it myself.
15Love these.
16You can pick them up at Target now. They have 7 different types of parissa strips to choose from.
17I was sick of shaving too, I was sick of razor bumps. I looked at various waxing reviews from Sally Hansen, Veet, and Nair. Once I went to the store I decided to get these because they seemed so easy and simple. And they are! It was my first time ever waxing and I have to say there was barely any pain, it was better than my eyebrow waxing! I love it and i'm going to continue using it! Go get it!
