The question shouldn't be, "Who in Hollywood has had Botox?" but "Who in Hollywood hasn't?" Getting an injection to decrease your wrinkles is extremely common among celebrities, but not too many of them like to talk about it. Nicole Kidman insists she hasn't had it, but recently Jenny McCarthy opened up about her thoughts on the 'tox. In Michigan Avenue Magazine, she says:
I think plastic surgery is fun if it makes you feel good. I'm all for looking better, so I plan on doing whatever I want when the time comes. I love Botox, I absolutely love it. I get it minimally, so I can still move my face. But I really do think it's a savior.
For some reason, the "I love Botox" line makes me think of Molly Shannon's joyologist impression ("I love it I love it I love it! Love it!") But seriously, folks, do you think celebrities should be open about their Botox use, or is it none of our business?

They talk about pretty much everything in their lives, so I don't see why not. Well, it's true that it's none of our business, but most celebs are worshiped for the way they look, so they should acknowledge that it's not all natural...
1I agree. Many women try to measure how they look against the (impossible) standards of celebs. And I think a lot of women think that celebs look that perfect naturally without plastic surgery or airbrushing.
2It's their business, and I don't think they need to broadcast what they have done to themselves, but it's so lame when they lie about it.
3IT WOULD BE TOO CRUEL TO LET PEOPLE THINK THEY'RE PERFECT AND EVERYONE ELSE ISN'T...
4I think it's great when they are open and honest about it.
I'm all about a little
maintenance work.
5meh. i don't really care, i just assume they all get it. although i would appreciate it if jenny mccarthy never spoke to the media. ever.
6Okay, Jenny, you are for shooting Botox into your system; but, not Mercury?
7It doesn't bother me either way.. if they want to talk about it that's fine, but if they don't then that's cool too.
8I think it's good that they talk about it, I'm all for a little nip or tuck or Botox, when the time comes.
9It's not my business. I don't care whether they do or not. And if it's obvious, do they really need to point it out?
10I think it's cool that Jenny McCarthy is able to talk about it. I don't think that they should feel that they have to but it is nice to know that they're also imperfect real people, maybe not as relatable because of all the damn money they have. I just don't like the Ashlee Simpson approach.
11I hate when they lie about it but on the other hand I hate how people are always grilling them. They're human beings.
12Great point, HoneyBrown!
13agreed, HoneyBrown
