Cosmetics that change color are rather popular these days, working by using your body chemistry to create customized hues. Too Faced Mood Swing Lip Gloss ($18.50) starts off as a clear gloss, then changes into a pink shade, depending on your emotional state — or so they say. Did reader Burotukunam buy into it? See what she had to say below:
Now, this gloss may not change to your mood, but who thought it really would? It does, however, change to a fun bright pink color. Depending on how much you use, you can get a subtle or dramatic difference in the color of your lips. And it does stain, but I love that fact, because even when the shine has started to fade, your lips are still lusciously pink. And it's not like having an opaque pink gloss which looks like you have a layer of paint on your lips.

Sounds pretty okay...
1Honestly, Avon's Mark line has a gloss that does this exact same thing, and it's $5. I've tried Smashbox's O-Gloss (which is also a similar product), and I thought it was very comparable to the Mark one. So I'd definitely go cheap if you're looking for a gloss like this!
2Like emalove, I've tried both the twofaced's mood swing and smashbox's o-gloss. Well, the Twofaced lip gloss I used was actually their repackaging in the Smurf line! (same thing, just that the smurf lip gloss is blue when it comes out of the tube)
In between my applying the mood swing until dinner two hours later, the lip color went through a variety of colors, all flattering my skin shade. It varied from a deeper berry color to a hotter pink. I think it may have had something to do with my skin temperature.
I have the O-gloss, but the color stayed an almost florescent pink color, not flattering at all!
Between the two, I would definitely go for the Twofaced~or grab a tube of the Smurf line and watch as your lip color goes from blue to berry to pink!
3Too Faced has amazing makeup! The Smurfeberry mood swing lip gloss brings out such a trendy color. Their new girls dig pearls and luster liners look super cute too. i tried one of the girls dig pearls and its really soft and adds a nice and subtle shine.
