First, a confession: I have a total weakness for seasonal marketing, whether it's a ridiculous frozen banana coffee concoction at Starbucks or a limited-edition candle that's supposed to smell like the beach. So that is partly why I was drawn to this Fruit Smoothie Glimpses Blendable Eye Collection by Bare Escentuals ($36). Chances are, I'm going to buy lots of fruit smoothies this Summer, so why not get some smoothie-themed eye makeup, too?
But seriously, this latest addition to BE's coordinated eye-trio offerings looks incredibly wearable and very fun for warm weather. With their transparent, watercolor-like finish, these shadows can worn separately or layered, using the light shade as a base, the middle shade on the lid, and the dark shadow on the crease. Easy to apply wet or dry, this shadow trio includes Banana Smoothie Glimpse (shimmery yellow), Ginger Peach Smoothie Glimpse (honeyed coral), and Mango Smoothie Glimpse (fruity gold).

ooh that looks very pretty! i would definitely buy that, i'm a sucker for eyeshadow buys. if you look in my huge train case, the majority is eyeshadow...all different colors!
1I adore Bare Escentuals...they can do no wrong and this new eye shaddow collection proves my point! Simply Amazing!
2I love it when they do trio's like this! They look good on everyone! I bought the trio that was inspired by peacock feathers and never thought they were colors I could wear, but bought it because I liked the free makeup bag it came with. Boy was I wrong about the colors! I love the way they look on me, and I put them on a friend who has completely different coloring than I do and they looked great on her too!
3I rarely wear eyeshadow, but I might give this a try!
4I've never tried BE's eyeshadows, but these look lovely. Especially the Ginger Peach.
