When you imagine orange on the face you might cringe a little, thinking of unflattering Oompa-Loompa-like effects. But you might be surprised that orange blush can give a flattering sun-kissed look that's fresh, not gaudy. Seeing that many designers featured the shade during 2009 Spring New York Fashion Week, I predicted that orange blush would be a trend during the upcoming warmer months.
Makeup artists used MAC Pro Color Base in Devilish Orange at Nanette Lepore and Carlos Miele, and I've got some great color suggestions in my widget below. Tip: Use creamy orange lipstick as a blush substitute.

Orange blush? I don't think it will work for many people... it makes you look sickly!
1It looks very cute on this model but I would look horrible in with an orange face . . .I've always tried to avoid looking orange!
2I don't know about this one...
3I like this trend! I have very pale skin, and a hint of orangey peach really looks cute! When I use it, I just focus on pretty, thick lashes + blush and leave the rest natural-looking.
4I love it, I've been a fan of orange and peach makeup for awhile - esp. in the warmer months! It's a nice change from pinks and purples, IMO.
5I'm far too fair for this to look good on me, maybe if I had a tan.
6I thought orange blush would look terrible, too — until I tried it. It's actually really pretty and brightens the face. A little goes a long way, of course!
7It looks great on this model, who by the way is one of my favs awesome red hair!) I doubt I coudl pull it off here in real life and with my darker skin tone...meh.
8I've been looking for a good matte orange powder blush for about two years now. I've found some nice colors, but they are either creams or shimmery. My next stop is shu uemura. I hear they have a nice matte orange, although some people describe it as peachy.
9i actually really like this - i just wonder if it would look weird with my complexion. i might have to go to the makeup counter one of these weeks and have someone walk me through this one, and let me know if i'd look stupid.
10All of you in disbelief -- give it a try!! Nars has some very pretty orange-y hues that look crazy in the package and gorgeous on the face. There is a color for every one ranging from soft peach to vivid sunset. I highly recommend trying some on at a place like Sephora and maybe asking for some direction. And Bella is right - Less is more when it comes to these shades!!
11Yeah, this shade doesn't work on me...I tried that featured Neutrogena blush in "Healthy", and it just didn't suit my fair, cool skintone. I ended up giving it to my best friend, who has olive-toned skin. It looks gorgeous on her.
12I actually think this could work for me, and I'm sure there are many variations out there that may work for other people. I hope that you'll feature other blush choices soon, Bella
.
13i like it...its cute && differnt
14i def. kno it wouldn't look right on me thou
