For the third installment of my five-part Fantastic Facial Creams series, we'll be looking at the best lotions for soothing sensitive skin. Those of you with sensitive skin know that it tends to be reactive and break out easily, and taming redness, blotchiness, or skin conditions like rosacea can be a constant battle. Here are three picks for sensitive-skin facial creams.
Complete All Day Moisture Lotion/Cream UV Defense by Oil of Olay ($9.61) came out in 2003, and it's still one of the best buys around. The mild moisturizing lotion contains SPF 15, vitamin E, and aloe to soothe redness. It's also free of fragrances, which can sometimes irritate sensitive skin.

Corn Ceresal Cream by Phytobiodermie ($44) is a light moisturizing cream formulated to balance, calm, and cool skin for an overall even and healthy skin tone. Made with corn-seed oil, lavender, and marjoram, it's especially great for Summer skin that's under stress from heat, sun, and sweat.
Skin Brightening Day Time Cream by Nefeli ($80) is a mineral- and herb-enriched cream that helps brighten your face by lightening age spots and blotchiness. It also calms irritated skin and is a terrific base for makeup application.

i use the oil of olay complete and its pretty much the best facial moisturizer ive used so far. been using it for years now!
1Another good one for sensitive skin is the Eucerin sensitive skin face cream with Q10 enzyme. The stuff worked wonders on my skin and didn't cause any breakouts. If anything, my pores have never looked better since using this night cream.
2I use this one. You can't beat the price!
3Avene is the best
4oil of olay
5I use the Olay! I dont have sensitve skin, but I accidentally grabbed the wrong one, and it's been great!
6I have sensitive skin prone to drying out from face products. I find that the best product is Aveeno Ultra Calming Face Wash and Lotion. It does wonders for keeping my face clean and moisturized and cutting down on redness without irritating it.
7i LOVE olay! i use all of their products and they never make me break out or weigh my skin down!
8The Olay Complete is also great for using on the hands, arms, legs, etc. Very light, and no "sunscreen" smell.
9This is a great product, but I use Aveeno SPF 30 in the summer.
10Thanks for the post Bella. I've been looking for a good sensitive skin cream. It's great to see so many endorsements for Olay and Aveeno as they are a bit kinder on the budget.
11olay is great-I have been using it for years and now my mom is hooked. Eucerin and Cetaphil are also great for sensitive skin.
12Olay makes the best facial cream, I've been a fan for years.
13I currently use the Oil of Olay, but I was considering trying Neutrogena Healthy Skin with AHA. My skin tends to breakout. I was thinking of adding the Neutrogena to maybe my skin out. Has anyone ever used the Neutrogena?
14even my skin out. oops
15I REALLY LOVE THE OLAY...I'VE TRIED SO MANY EXPENSIVE MOISTURIZERS AND THIS ONE SEEMS TO BEAT THEM ALL! I LOVE PUTTING ON THIS MOISTURIZER IN THE MORNING RIGHT AFTER A SHOWER...AND IT HAS AN SPF WHICH KILLS 2 BIRDS..
16i've used oil of olay complete sensitive skin for years, it's the only moisturizer i'll use! as someone with extremely sensitive and break-out prone skin, i'm very picky about what i put on my face. it's lightweight and doesn't irritate my skin at all. plus it's SPF 15 and super affordable!
17I use the olay complete too - LOVE!
