What's just as hot as bedroom hair? That's right — it's beach waves. Now that we're entering the season(s) of rising temperatures, perhaps you're thinking that a tousled, sexy look is in your near future. Recently, reader Countchocula reviewed Frederic Fekkai Beach Waves ($23), a spray that creates beachy texture in the hair. Here's why she liked it:
I love this product! My hair has natural waves and this product gives me a fresh-from-the-beach look and controls my out-of-control frizz. I recommend it because it doesn't make the hair sticky or stiff, and for a hair product, it smells great. I've run out since I bought a couple of bottles last Summer and I can't wait until Sephora and Ulta stock their shelves with this. The price is definitely worth it.

Does this do anything for naturally "Curly" hair?
1I love this product too!! it's the best one i have ever tried and I used it all summer long. Cant wait to buy more!
2Oooh, this is a great product! I love it
3Is it better than B & b Surf Spray if anyone's used both . . . ?
4I love this stuff too! It's awesome. Love all the Fekkai products I've tried.
5Yes, how does this compare to B&B Surf Spray? Does it give your hair the same texture and matte the shine?
6Oh how I wish I had any kind of wave to my straight hair!
7I have relatively straight hair... How will it work on that?
8Can I just say that Sally Hershberger makes a product that smells and does the same thing too. It's called Wave Spray. I've tried them all and Sally's product is awesome. I also love Shu Uemura Liquid Fabric.

11i've used this one and the b&b surf spray. personally i like the b&b one better, though i can't really articulate why- they are pretty similar. i have stick straight hair though and i feel like the b&b one does a better job helping it wave a bit. i haven't tried the sally h one yet but i might go look for it! my absolute fave was the john frieda one that smelled SO good but was discontinued a couple years ago- i wish they'd bring it back!!
12how about the really cheap sunsilk one? anyone?
13yiu- the cheap Sunsilk one did nothing for me, it did not work at all. I have stick hair but with B&b surf spray i get some volume and texture.
I loved the John Freida Beachwaves also megln! I have no idea why they got rid of it bc everyone loved it! B&b works okay for me, I'll try this one when they stalk it in the summer.
14oh sorry i meant to direct my comment to yui1004 not "yiu"
