Reader Itsme3683 has found her perfect mask in Neutrogena's Clear Pore Cleanser Mask ($7). Better yet, this acne-fighting formula can be used as both a daily moisturizer and a daily mask. Take it away, Itsme3683:
Like some of the other reviewers, I don't recommend using it as a twice-daily cleanser because it is really intense, and I think it's too thick and annoying for a cleanser anyways. I use it as a mask whenever I feel like I need a good deep clean and I love it. I also use it as a spot treatment when I have a problem zit — just dab a little of this on before bed and it's so much better in the morning. Highly recommended.

Sounds decent enough. I have the same issue with some products, their recommended twice a day is too harsh for me.
1I used to LOVE their Overnight Clear Pore treatment... wonder what happened to it ...
2A cleanser and a mask in one?? That seems odd to me. Most masks have a consistency that I would NOT want in a facial cleanser.
But Neutrogena products are usually pretty decent.
3this is one of my favorite masks. I don't like it as a daily treatment either but I use it regularly as a deep cleansing mask and as a spot treatment for problem areas.
4I have recommended it to a few of my friends and they love it as well.
Yeah emalove I agree, it's definitely weird as a cleanser, but my boyfriend uses it as one as doesn't have a problem. I like my cleansers to be foamy though...
5I agree completely with everything you have said, I really like this product as a deep cleansing mask, its not a good face wash I highly recommend.
