sigh. i love mehndi. i wish i could do it all the time... it's such a time consuming process though! my hands dont dye with mehndi very easily so i (no joke) put them in plastic bags all night and don't take the mehndi off until the morning. that's the only way i can get a design that doesn't fade in a day or two!
Such amazing work.
I actually was born and grew up in Morocco for most of my life (half moroccan, half english)and I always used to get henna done on my hands and feet by my auntie every year. This makes me proud, it's so beautiful!

One of my girls got married a couple of years ago. One of the first events she had was a mehndi party. The bride and a few others decided to get theirs done professionally by an artist who was present at the party. But the rest of us did each others palm and it was so much fun and pretty!
my best friend is indian and i get it done all the time... we have been friends since we were 3!
Thanks Pop for featuring this! Beautiful work, nice to see some diversity on the site!
I just realized - mehndi is also available in different colours - solid and sparkly!

Mehndi is so pretty. I like the Indian designs better because of the detail and variety. The Pakistani and Indian culture is so unique and exotic. Indian/Pakistani women are unbelievably gorgeous.
