It's National Hairstyle Appreciation Day. Who would have known it? To celebrate this momentous occasion, we've been digging through our photo archives — and unfortunate, embarrassing "tagged" photos on Facebook — in search of the hairstyles we did not appreciate all that much. I've started you off with a shot of a past hair misstep, and now it's your turn. Just head over to the 2009 Hairstyle Appreciation Day group, and post pictures of your least favorite styles. At the end of the day, I'll gather them up in a gallery for all to enjoy.
(In case you're wondering, I'm on the top row, second from the left in all my big-hair glory.)

LOL! I have to ask, what year was this Bella?
1I was a Spartan too, different school though! I love the big hair!
2I'll have to search through my pictures.
3I think this was 1992 or 1993 — longer than I care to admit
4Hahaha. Oooh I have a terrible picture from 7th grade. I will scan it up so everyone can laugh at my sillyness.
5I think everyone's hair was big like that in 1993. My hair looked about the same. You are not alone.
6Huh, big hair wasn't big in our town after like '91 (well, except for the hardcore cholas, they rocked it till 2000, I think.) The early 90s were all about bobs and those stretchy headbands for us.
7The blondes look almost the same.. and I knew that had to be you. There are 3 brunettes.
8Oh, I have tons of late 80s/early 90s photos of me with big, permed hair...pretty scary. LOL
9hahaha...you look so cute and sweet Bella! Do the other girls know you posted their pics? umm, they might beat you up. If the hair weren't so poofy at the top, it wouldn't be so bad. Yours is like the 2nd least poofy. But I love big hair! Mine is super thick. yeah, i easily have enough hair for 2 people.
10This is your older sister and I have an answer about the year - it's from 1992.
111993 entered with big, curly bangs and a poufy bob and left a la Jennifer Aniston fringe. It was some of the best hair I ever had.
