Not that it's any surprise, but at tonight's Costume Institute Gala, Tyra Banks was most definitely smiling with her eyes. It's good to know that Tyra's peepers have a sense of humor about this look too. Sure her hair has a quiff vibe — a la Janelle Monáe — but it seems a little out of place on top of Tyra's head. And, as for the makeup, well, it's a tad overdone. The deep brown eyeshadow highlights her insanely arched brows while her lips are va va va voom red. When put together, we start to see more of a mannequin than a model, but maybe I'm being too harsh. After all, Miss Banks is all about the camp. Do you think her overall look is appropriate for this event?

13There's something about Tyra that, even though she is obviously gorgeous, I just can't take her seriously. She just comes off as kind of "nutso."
