I've always had a slight girl crush on Rachel Weisz. She's got a great look, and her movies are almost always intriguing, well-acted, and downright cool.
At the Independent Spirit Awards earlier this year, Rachel went for an understated look that was effortlessly chic. But tonight, the actress channels a romantic, Victorian-era quality with deep berry lips, sexy sultry eyes, and a tousled, wavy updo. Do you think that Rachel "brought it" tonight, or does it somehow miss the mark?

the only thing wrong here is that her skin is shiny, most likely from heat. If she could have used those papery oil removing papers and made herself 'matte' she would have looked a lot better
1In this photo, the berry lips look too harsh.

4She is indeed a gorgeous woman, but this look is wrong on so many levels. The colour of her face doesn´t match that of her neck, and in fact it doesn´t seem as if she´s wearing anything on her face, it´s all shiny and uneven, and her eye shadow isn´t doing anything for her

I'm not loving that shade of lipstick on her. Too harsh for her complexion, and it makes her teeth look yellow. She is normally much prettier than that!

10She looks a bit demonish. The eyeliner isn't attractive and that shade of lipstick is just not it for her.
11If you had shown me the photo and asked who it was, I wouldn't have known - and I like Rachel Weisz! The makeup looks harsh, but I also think the photo is weird and unflattering and that that might have influenced my opinion of the makeup.
