I wasn't surprised when I saw the news that Jennifer Garner has signed on as the new face of Neutrogena. But I was surprised that the youthful 35-year-old will be advertising antiaging products. According to Women's Wear Daily, the actress will appear in print and TV ads starting in September with Neutrogena's Anti-Oxidant Age Reverse line. Here's more from the article:
Garner will also appear in ads for Neutrogena's Healthy Defense SPF 45 Daily Moisturizer with Helioplex, a patented sunscreen designed to provide antiaging protection.
Garner said in a statement that Neutrogena had always been a part of her beauty regimen.
"I've used the products for years.…I feel an emotional connection to the brand because it represents healthy beauty — and that's something that I strongly support," she stated.
Garner's contract with the brand will run through December 2008 and pay out an estimated $1 million per year. Neutrogena and Garner definitely seems like a good fit; what do you guys think?

I agree. Definitely a good fit!
1Good for her! I think she represents a good group of people who use this product. I love their Acne Face Wash! And if she actually USES the products, it makes me like her even more.
2I definitely see her as the Face of Neutrogena. She's just so naturally beautiful!
3Agree- she has the fresh, clean look that is used in their ads.
4I love JG. She is such a good role model and an all american girl next door. Great mach for Neutrogena.
5I went to high school with JG, a year or so behind her. We were never the best of friends - not quite the nice, accessible persona she displays now - but I will say that I'm glad she has done well for herself.
She also wasn't that incredibly hot in HS, but she doesn't look as though she's had any work done either...I think she's just grown into her attractiveness and taken care of herself. A good choice for spokesperson, I'd say.
6She's 35? Her skin is better than mine. :jealous:
7Shes amazing and beautiful =)
8hmmm
I am one of the few that never liked her. she seems, inauthentic about something, not sure what though.
so im not all for her doing the new ad... but a girl's gotta pay the bills.
9Rachi99 You went to school with her? do tell more!
10yeah she has the neutrogena vibe...just like jennifer love hewitt had...
11Just $1M? Sure, it is a lot of money, but I feel like other beauty brands have paid celebs much more for a contract.
Either way, Im so happy its her! Shes radiant.
12Good for Jen, I think she has a youthful face- good for antiaging products.
13she and her skin is flawless
14I can def see her hawking Neutrogena products. Better Jen than annoying Mischa!
15I can see her doing the ads, although I will say she seemed a little established for Neutrogena. When I think of their spokespeople I think of "new up and coming fresh faces". What do I know??
16i think she's a decent choice for a spokesperson.
17That's great that she got it. Have you already seen the previews for the ads? They look amaaazing.
18She's just naturally gorgeous!
19Her skin is lovely and she seems so natural...it does seem like a good fit!
20I think she's a great choice. Here's hopin' my skin looks that awesome when I hit 35!
21wow, she's 35, hard to believe, she looks younger than that
22jen garner is SO annoying. she has this fake persona about her - trying to be something she's not. if she didn't marry ben affleck, no one would still be paying attention to her. i wish she would just go away into ex-tv star graveland.
23i do however think she matches with neutrogena's brand since she's pretty fit. i would've chosen carrie underwood however - now she seems genuinely nice.
24At least she can hold onto her man.
25She seems like the perfect choice for them. I would buy something she's selling.
26I think its a great combination!
27I saw her commercial the other day. I was like 'Aw yay!' But I'm a dork haha
