John Frieda's Root Awakening Nourishing Moisture Shampoo is formulated for dry hair, but it also works to help feed roots. Reader Brandysbug tried out the newer shampoo recently, and here's what she had to say:
I usually need to apply a hair mask after shampooing/conditioning, but I skipped it the past two days when using this shampoo, and my hair has been super silky and shiny. Plus, the eucalyptus scent is so refreshing in the morning.

Hmm, I have been thinking of trying this..
1I just got a sample of this in the mail today...looking forward to trying it!
2I think what also might be helpful is if in the reviews people write what kind of hair they have, do they process..etc.
If i read something from a natural curly girl like me then I'm all over it (I'm guessing its the same for girls with color-treated hair, chemically processed, black hair, Asian hair...etc).
Then again, that could just be me. I still love these reviews though!
3I love this stuff! I have very fine hair and this stuff works wonderfully on it. It leaves me with shiny, silky hair that smells so good all day. I highly recommend it.

5I have medium length think highlighted straight hair that tends to frizz if I let it dry naturally. I have been trying to grow my hair out since February after deciding to cut it really short. I noticed after starting to use this product 3 weeks ago that not only is my hair shinier and softer, but my hair also seems to be growing faster. 3 week again I wouldn't have been able to pull it all up in a twist. Now I am. It's just about touching my shoulders now. Great products. I have been using the shampoo, conditioner and detangling spray. My favorite thing about the line is the Eucalyptus sent. So invigorating. When I run out I will be buying this line again. LOVE IT!
6I love this product, I had a very dry scalp then I began using this product and I have minimal dryness and super healthy shiny hair. I also color my hair and it doesnt seem to make my color fade any faster than normal. I love the refreshing smiell!! I give this product a two thumbs up and will still purchase it in the future,
