If you're a fan of vintage styles, you're going to love this how-to. On Sunday, makeup artist Jamie Greenberg helped to transform Twilight's Ashley Greene into a 1940s siren at the MTV Movie Awards. The majority of you were loving it, and now I've got tips straight from Greenberg on copying the glamorous look on your own, all using products from Mark. For the scoop, read more.
- Eyes: Apply Custom Pick Eye Color in Whisper ($4.50) as a highlighter under the brow, and Custom Pick Eye Color in Latte ($4.50) on the lid, up towards the crease. Next, use On the Edge Hook Up Liquid Liner in Cleo ($5.50) for a cat-eye effect. "Just dash along the lash line, then go over it again. You can always go even thicker for more drama," Greenberg said. Next, curl lashes and apply two coats of Scanda-Lash Hook Up Mascara in Blacklash ($5.50). "You can even take some Eyemarker Color On Line in Java ($5.50) and blend into the lower lash line for definition," she added.
- Face: Start by applying moisturizer. ("Fresh skin makes any makeup application look better," Greenberg says.) Face Xpert Flawless Touch Foundation in Ivory ($8) gave Ashley a porcelain-skinned look. To complement the red lips, Just Pinched Instant Blush Tint in Berry ($6) was then applied. "You also want to highlight right above the cheekbone with some Get Bright Hook-Up Highlighter ($6)," recommended Greenberg.
- Lips: A sweep of KissInk Lip Tintmarker in Red Siren ($7) was used to give Ashley an old Hollywood matte-lip. But, if you prefer a glossier finish, Greenberg suggests Lip Exotics Lip Lacquer Hook Up in Fever ($6).

Rag and Bone
Everyone is ranting and raving about Ashley at the MTV awards. I personally think she slook horrible. Granted, her make up was beautiful but she is a beautiful girl. But her hair was horrid and her dress made her look boxy. I give her look two thumbs down. Although it seems I am alone in this.
1Her makeup was so pretty. Didn't love the hair though. I'm dying to get Kristen Stewart's mu look from that night though.
2I thought she looked awesome!!!!!! I really loved her looks.
3Thanks for the tips!
I'm not really into that makeup, but I'm always amazed to see how you can create red carpet looks with "cheap" makeup, no matter what the expensive brands say!
4Her skin looks amazing, I'll have to look at those products!
I agree with you gemin, I would love to find out Kristen Stewart's look, she looked fantastic!
5I'm sorry but Ashley Greene usually looks gorgeous but this look on her is just plain scary!
Also,I third with fordhalmalias and gemin, Kristen Stewart looked great that night!
6I like the lip... and I'm undecided about the hair... but her skin looks clean and not over done. I have no idea who she is................
7The whole red- lip- cat- eyeliner- old- hollywood glamour look is NOT as universal as some women have come to believe. It doesn't look good on people that don't have big eyes and stronger features in my opinion. She has the face for a smoky eye and nude lip, she has a delicate face.
8Might want to review your grammar on the *you're in the first sentence, Bella! I thought she looked so beautiful and classic, she's a gorgeous lady.
9i love her make-up but definitely not the hair. just not a fan of it. i prefer her longer hair much much more than this style
10Thanks amelioratelj — I was proofing this in a rush and am mortified that I missed that typo! (blushing)
11I agree the hair was a bit much, but I loved her dress, purse, and make-up
12i'm dying for kristen stewart's make up at the tmv movie awards. it was awesome
13ashley looked very pretty and i loved her look the hair looks fine. kristen looked like sh*t though, i mean her hair looked like she just woke up and i didnt like how she did her makeup
