Makeup isn't just for the face anymore — or at least that's what a few companies would like you to think. Last week we took a look at concealer for your feet, and this time around, it's the My Beautiful Breasts kit ($69) from It Cosmetics. Intended to create the appearance of larger ta-tas, the kit includes waterproof/sweatproof "bust shadows," an awesomely titled Library of Secrets manual, booby primer, setting spray, and brushes for application. It also comes with bust stain, a semi-permanent tint that promises, "No matter how wet or sweaty you get, your breasts aren’t going anywhere!" (Oof, I should hope not.)
Makeup artists use shading and contouring tricks to create the illusion of larger breasts, and It Cosmetics CEO Jamie Kern Lima's background in TV means that she's picked up a few tips and tricks along the way. Still, I can't imagine an occasion when I'd think, "You know what this event calls for? Bust stain." Would you consider getting this kit, or will you stick with a push-up bra?

Great for drag queens?
bronzer on the chest is an old cosmo cover tip, and works just fine
Not going to lie, this is a little weird. Even more so than the foot concealer.
Hmm I would have to agree that this is a little unnecessary. For $70 I can think of a lot of other types of makeup that I would prefer, and none of it is for my chest! Interesting concept, but I don't think it is going to take off! Thanks for the review.
I saw the cast of dancing with the stars saying they wear this on the show. Karina Smernoff (sp?) was saying she is an A cup but this product makes her look like a C cup. I would try it if I needed to, or if I was thinking about plastic surgery I would try this first, but when it comes to my chest no need LOL
WEIRD for sure, I've seen this before. They have a Beautiful Abs one too, that makes you look like you have a 6 pack!
I would buy it, with one caveat. Just the other night, I was going out and wanted make my less-than-A's look much better, and I just couldn't because a push-up bra would be totally visible under what I was going to wear. This is something that seems as though it would be perfect for those back- or shoulder-baring tops. My only concern is that the instructions might not be as detailed as I need them to be. I suck at putting on makeup and I know I would just make my chest look ridiculous if there weren't meticulous, step-by-step, simple directions or some form of instructional DVD.
This product seems pretty excessive for the average person. I can see how it would be helpful if you were in television or modeling, but for most people I don't think it would matter. I'm trying to think of when I'd even use it... Maybe on a night out? A special event?
Bottom line is this product is a little over the top (and waaaaay too expensive) and isn't anything that you couldn't get with just a bronzer and some shimmer powder.
I can say I'd be in any hurray to spend money on something like this. I don't even like bras that make my chest more obvious.
* I mean hurry.
* And can't instead of can. I need to remember to check what I type since I can't edit.
I'm an A cup but this is just too much work and money for just a night out (cuz I'm not trying to mimic cleavage for work)
I confess. I have this kit!! I am an A cup and it makes me look like a C cup. I learned about this trick at a photo shoot when the photographer had the artist "give me boobs" with makeup. Super easy to do, but make sure you use the matte/waterproof colors like ones in the kit or you'll get the opposite effect.
i suppose it's not a bad idea for those who want to try it. but i think i would rather just buy those nu-bra things for more realistic cleavage if i were to invest that kind of money.
i would rather stick to a push up bra totally uneccessary/
to pay 69.00-not- I'll stich w/ push up bra thank you!
I don't have time for lipstick and blush most days! Who has time to do a full make-up on their chest??
