3Actually, NPD is a serious disorder diagnosed by many symptoms. Those who have family members with it really suffer--it is not as simple as someone loving their reflection. Do some research!!

63/5...I guessed. I have a friend whose mom had fear of bathing and water...she had agoraphobia (probably spelled wrong) too. She never left home unless there was an emergency and took meds before leaving. She never saw a mental health professional.

15Bella - the intro to this article is a bit misleading. Narcissistic personality disorder is an overarching psycholgical condition that much more complex than looking in the mirror all day.(check out the wiki page).

20Oh, and I knew someone who had trichotillomania. It wasn't so much picking at splitting ends as pulling out her hair and eyelashes though.
Wow, some of these are pretty weird. I agree though that trichotillomania is a pretty serious condition - I had a mild case of it a few years ago, and I would love to see an article about it!
