OK, pencils down, now who's got the right answer? In this case, it's thick black eyeliner. Each of these women used heavy hands for their black eyes at the CFDA Awards. There's a blurry difference between heavily lined and smoked up, so let's discuss. 
Kirsten Dunst has the most outlined look as her stroke — even the bottom! — traces the entire eye on the lash line. Ashley Olsen, on the other hand, has equally thick lines, but she blurs the edges into a cat-eye shape for a sultry rock look. Lastly, Heidi Klum falls somewhere in the middle with slight smudges on the bottom, but more definition up top. Whose look do you like best . . . or do you think it all got out of hand?

2Kirsten's doesn't flatters her eye shape .. it makes them look smaller, but her blue eyes do pop up
are their looks really that different? or is it just that they each have different eye shapes and so the same look - looks different on each woman.
3To achieve this kind of look requires a steady hand and a great wet/dry liner. Has anyone tried BeingTRUE's eye definer in Obsidian? Amazing- pair it alone for a clean but well-defined eye or use it wet to really enhance and draw attention to.
4I like Heidi's look better. But given the season of summer, I think it would be so much prettier for celebs to rock pale or nude colors! Many brands like Chanel, Clinique, Nars, MAC and Stila have come up with beautiful lighter shades for the summer, I think natural beauty is what will be hot this season!
5I like Ashley's. Overly harsh lines remind me of 13 yr old girls doing their makeup for the first time.
6These look like kohl rimmed eyes, not pencil but the real stuff...the one where you lay the applicator against your lower waterline, lower your top lashes, then pull it out.

17I do like the look. I learned at a photo shoot the most idiot proof way to get this look. She used a Maybaline Eye Brow pencil in black velvet sharpened to a very sharp point and then she softened it with a lighter to make it apply smoothly. After that she took a lipstick brush and set the liner with MAC black tied shadow. I tried it at home with no prob and went dancing in the Florida heat and it looked great all night! (FYI I can't even put on lipstick without several tries.
18I think they all look like raccoons with blonde wigs on.
19you need bigger eyes to pull that off, which is why ashley looks the best, followed by heidi, and a distant third being kirsten.
20can you do a how-to on ashley's? I usually hate raccoon eyes, but I luv wing tips and I luv how hers is done. I always try and fail; help please...

27I don't like ANY of them. If I HAD to choose one of the three, I would say Heidi. She looks good in everything she wears and the way she presents herself.
28Ashley's looks the best out of the three, but I think they all went a little overboard on the eyeliner. They kind of look gothic to me.
29it looks so great on natasha komis from paris hilton my bff... but... on some girls who wear it every single day, they look sooooo different when it's off. and it could be slightly unpleasing.
mary kate usually has load of lengthening mascara and coppery eyeshadow.
30I love black eyeliner to glam it up. Ashely and Heidi seems to be my faves though.
