i just cant buy this story haha i dont know why.. it seems nearly impossible to fall asleep...

I feel that she's got buyer's remorse, and I feel badly for her, but she needs to face facts and realize that she did it to herself and she needs to get over it. She's just so young to have her face marked up like that, even with removal, there will still be shadows of the stars. It's a bad situation all around.

She shouldn't complain about him not speaking English when she's the one who needs a translator. Also that tattoo artist is kinda scaring me.

This is in Belgium where I live. I believe I heard on the news, he was going to pay for laser treatment. I can't believe her story either.

I wonder if she should get started now on her laser treatment or wait until they heal. They are very raised. Her skin looks like it could come off, and she needs to find something to prevent it. I'm still not buying any of this b.s. I don't think she really wants them now, but I am sure she wanted them before. For her first tattoo, she should have chosen somewhere other than her face!

Sure his look is extreme, but I don't find him scary in any way. I think he's just very in to body modification, and he's also made a career of it. In fact he seems like he would be a very knowledgeable and because of that, would be a good person to get a tattoo from.

Oh and she needs to shut up, no one believes her, I think its very unfair of her to slander that guy.

well it's her fault 100 percent! but he shouldn't have tattooed her face at all. there are many tattoo parlours that won't tattoo people hands, face and necks. being that it was her first tattoo, he shouldn't have done it. if she came to a tattoo artist here in the states, he/she would have said no to her. if she was COVERED in tattoos then they would say yes but as her first tattoo? that's pretty extreme...

She's completely lying. Anyone who has had a tattoo will tell you she's absolutely lying. As a person with multiple tats myself I can tell you, no one sleeps through getting 56 stars on the face. Not even one star. There is far too much bone in the face for that not to hurt. Even a little. She would not have gone to sleep for a second. Not unless she was super drunk or on some serious drugs. Additionally, for him to have put that tat on in the first place, he'd have drawn it out before placing it over her face. It's far too neatly done for freehand. So before even getting the tattoo in the first place she would have had to sit there while he traced stars all over her face. She's blatantly lying.

Last year, I got my second tat, along the side of my ribcage, starts near my armput and goes down to my hip. On the bone, hurts like a mofo but there were some parts where the needle was on my back which surprisingly didn't hurt and would've put me to sleep. Anything on the face though? Impossible to fall asleep! And true, he had have traced the stars on before any ink was done. Judging by his own tattoos, he looks like he knows what he is doing.

sounds like her dad saw it and hated it so she just made up a story to get out of it and it twisted way out of control.
kind of like these two teens that one of my teachers was telling me about.
there was a janitor who wouldn't let them into the school building at night to get their books,

I don't believe anyone who says they "fell asleep" while getting THEIR FACE TATTOOED. What the hell, you'd think she'd be either too excited or anxious to sleep... Also, I'm pretty sure tattoo artists would NEVER tattoo you with something you hadn't agreed upon, especially since they draw the design on first. It really seems like she just regrets her decision and is trying to blame the tattoo artist.

i know it sucks, but i don't feel sorry for her at all because she's lying about the entire situation. serves her right. too bad she doesn't have jupiter and saturn on the other side of her face.

in an interview yesterday she was saying she passed out from te pain because the needle was 2 cm in. Thats not even possible

Ahhh... Another teenager making a terrible decision, then floundering around trying to find a way to weasel out of taking responsibility. However, this will make a great addition to my list of "teachable moments" for my daughter.

I find it very hard to believe she fell asleep while getting a tattoo. I have 4 tattoos myself and let me tell you, the last thing i could do was sleep! Also, if she claims the person you are getting a PERMENANT tattoo from speaks broken English, then she might have thought twice about who she was getting the tat from because obviously someone was lost in translation.

i think that this girl is crazy for in the first place get a tattoo with such a freaky guy and second who goes to sleep when they are doing a tattoo to u, nobody could go to sleep.

Most of my friends with tattoos have fallen asleep at one point during the tattooing, even on areas that are pain prone, but I totally think she's lying. I don't even go to hairstylists if their hair is not something I would want for myself. I TOTALLY wouldn't get a face tattoo from a man whose face tattoos I wouldn't want. Also, Lyngay, that is a great point. Artists don't waste their time and ink on someone who's not paying for it.

Also, I hate the regular spacing of the stars. It makes it look like cheetah spots.

The funny thing is, assuming she only made up this ridiculous story to calm down daddy, if she won the case (HA!) she would have to suffer through the laser surgery to remove the tattoos, which I bet is not painless. Karma is a b*tch.

She's playing the victim card too well. "Look, I'm a pretty 18 year old girl that had a scary tattoo guy fudge up my face." the reason the media feels for her is because she's a beauty and the tattoo artist is a beast.

From far away she looks like she has some kind of disease. She will get absolutely nothing out of this. If by some miracle she wins, she won't get extra $$$ after the removal of those.

I say, if the tattoo artist is forced to pay, he should give her around 30 bucks to go buy a sh*tload of concealer and foundation. The rest is not his problem.
