When it's warm outside, my face tends to be more apt to breakout. Do you hear me on that one? I've shared with you dermatologist Dr. Hema Sundaram's recipe for her Sweet Tea Antioxidant Facial Exfoliator, and now she's got something else for us to help beat the early Autumn heat — and the pimples. Better yet? Most ingredients are probably already in your pantry or refrigerator. Her latest recipe both hydrates and exfoliates the skin, while providing antibacterial properties.

"Neem oil has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects, which can help heal breakout-prone Summer skin," said Dr. Sundaram. But that's not all. "The fatty acids in neem oil build collagen and maintain skin’s elasticity while plain yogurt works to soothe, nourish, and tighten skin," she added. Get the easy-to-make recipe after the jump.
- Wrap plain yogurt in cheesecloth or muslin. Place wrap in a strainer over the sink. Let the yogurt sit overnight, allowing the excess moisture to drain out.
- Stir in a tablespoon of honey, along with a few drops of neem oil, and apply. Try Banyan Botanicals Neem Oil ($9).

Also using the oatmeal, a little milk, and honey is a great mask also-
1I have always used an aspirin and honey mask to keep my acne under control during the summer. It really works great!! Just make sure to use the uncoated aspirin
2Is it just me, or would yogurt left out all night be...well, ripe by morning?
3who has neem oil in their pantry?
4To be fair, Bella did say *most*.
5actually when you drain yogurt like that for several hours it becomes really delicious, much thicker and creamier. i like it way better than regular yogurt. if you've heard anything about greek yogurt which is becoming more popular then its the same thing i think (yogurt which has most of its excess moisture drained). anyway im iranian and we've always done this. you should try it!
