Summertime sunburns are the worst, because each and every day continues to be beautiful, so you rarely get any downtime to heal. For those of you who are suffering from the sting of the sun, here's a fast and easy at-home honey milk bath remedy, courtesy of the world-renowned esthetician Raechel Cunningham. The bath will help control redness and irritation from sunburn.

For instructions on soothing your skin naturally and easily, just read more
- Take two cups of raw, uncooked oatmeal and pour into a tepid-to-warm bathtub. Oatmeal contains healing properties and serves as an exfoliator and moisturizer.
- Add one cup of whole milk to the bathwater. Milk is great for the skin; since it is full of proteins and vitamins A, D, and E, it has strong soothing properties.
- Add one tablespoon of honey to the bath. Honey is high in vitamins C, D, E and B and is a natural antiseptic salve for the skin.
- Soak in the tub for five to ten minutes. Rinse off and gently pat your body dry.

Honey does wonders for the skin. Just last night I did a honey and aspirin mask on my face. I crushed 5 aspirin tablets, add a few drops of water, then 1/2 tsp. of honey, and apply for 20-30 mins. Makes the skin glowy, and heals up any pimples really quick. Sounds crazy, but it works.
1This is perfect. I'm in the process of healing from my sunburn from last weekend, so I can't wait to try this. Will this help with peeling?
2I have used honey on my skin before and it really does feel good, plus you probably smell excellent when you get out of the tub!
3Ive heard of this. I took an oatmeal bath when i had the chicken pox
4Aaah....the name alone sounds verrry soothing!

9i wish i knew this last summer...freeze didnt work!
10and how exactly do you clean the bath tub afterwards???
11I put yogurt on sunburned skin and let it dry, then wash off. It smells quite bad, but it does wonders! Guaranteed!!
As a big fan of bees, I'd like to add that honey has moisturizing and antibacterial properties.
12I live in the hot tropics, and would love, luv, LUV this fantastic product...and to be a loyal fan always!
13i hope this works i used sunscreen but my shoulders still got burnt.
14I'm possibly the palest person on this planet. I got really badly sunburn on a trip to the Bahamas in May of 07 and till this day the marks from the burns are still on my body. Even though I faithfully used sunscreen, I was red by the time we got back from the first day out. I wish I could have known this then. That was the worst sunburn of my life.
