Perfume is so much more than scent. I love the clever packaging, the colors of the tinctures inside, even the goofy little trinkets that are sometimes included with them. But my heart beats faster when I think about the bottles. Is there anything more luxurious than the sound of them clinking softly on a silver tray? Many of the best are little jewels of design, and so beautiful you'd never dare hide them in a cabinet. I've put together a few of my favorites; they smell great, and they look even better.

3SO TRUE! Perfume is soo much more than the scent. Half the fun of shopping for a fragrance is picking out the bottle and imagining it sitting in your bathroom cabinet! I also like to buy perfume that is fun to apply-- I used Juicy's perfume for quite some time because the spray bottle was so amusing to pump.
4I always think that the perfumes with the pretty bottles smell the grossest!

8Im buying miniature perfume bottles for my sisters birthday, she has about 90, but I always think that the Jean Paul Gaultier ones are beautiful, and cute; man's torso in a kilt? Brilliant!
